Suggestions: Instead of waiting for certain others to redo their paperwork, in light days when I have few out of office assignments bring me your lists and notes. I'll type them up for you. All you'll have to do is sign them after and bring a fresh cup of tea or snack per stack because really it's the least you can do.

But I think we should teach our newest agent how it's properly done now, so he doesn't fall into the habit of just letting you clean up after his mistakes.

Oh, of course not! I was just thinking that it would be better to have his version of the report then compare it with mine. How else is he going to ease out of all that slang talk?

It's better than trying to correct him while tying or trying to do it just vocally. If he has to read it and see it, it will stick that much more firmly. Well I think anyway.

Of course I have, Sir. Blindly attempting something could have a less than desired outcome. Ronald is only a trainee in terms of experience after all, we wouldn't want to hinder his proper development.

[Pretty much calling Ronald a kid he'd feel bad about it but - not really.]

No. That is precisely what we don't want to happen. Either way, I want you to keep me updated on his progress. He is under you, so this is a good chance to use the skills you learned as a rookie, yourself. If the boy is quick to learn, I have no doubt you'll be able to make a good field agent of him in minimal time.
