As in, go shopping for groceries? [ Bleh!! Grell doesn't know quite what to make of that option, but it sounds awfully boring. Not at all something she'd choose to do. ]
[ A suggestion made after the contents of the fridge are limited to long lasting condiments. The cabinets have a few snack foods and boxed meals, so that's a start. Apparently his folks intended to be away for a decent stretch of time. ]
[ Grell has hopped up onto the counter beside William, absently draping her arms out to rest over his shoulders. She's half expecting to find her face against tile in a moment, but that's part of the rush, isn't it? ]
[ He's about to comment on Ann's choice of words being nighties when Grell hops onto the counter. As she suspected, she's almost immediately pushed back to the floor. ]
Get off of the counter. And me.
[ He returns his gaze to Ann, dropping his previous thought for now. ]
Choose something and I will order, then. And the cabinets in the living room have some films to pick from.
[ Grell yelps as she slides right off the counter - and while she would have caught herself decently on the floor, her socks cause her feet to wipe right out from under her.
Smacking against the cabinets, she deflates with a whimper!! ]
W-why... [ The redhead holds her head with a pout! ]
[ William does little to help Grell up, instead moving towards the phone to call up and order. There's a flyer stuck to the fridge of one he's had quite often. And thankfully, his parents have left a stash of cash for him to use for when they're away. At least they did that much.
So with a nod, he gets them on the phone, adding some crab rangoon and orange chicken to the mix. ]
[ By the time he's done, Grell and Angelina have changed into their night clothes and chosen a stack of movies to go through. For the moment, they're just watching television, though-- well, partly! Ann is on the couch, busy combing her fingers through Grell's hair whilst beginning to braid it up. ]
Everything went smoothly, I hope? [ She casually inquires, sparing William a welcoming glance and smile. ]
[ Though happily settled on the floor against Ann's knees, Grell looks up to see William with a grin!
While Ann wears a camisole dress and pull-over kimono, Grell herself wears a thin-strapped tee and cute matching shorts. She's attempted to keep herself warm with some slouch socks. ]
[ William's evening attire isn't quite as interesting. Just a black tshirt over dark blue plaid pajama bottoms. He pauses once he enters the room, frowning slightly at the sight of Ann braiding Grell's hair. ]
It should only be around 20 mins or so.
[ Still, he takes a seat on the other end of the couch, pulling his feet up under him and wondering if he should go get some socks. ]
[ Ann likewise hums, but with approval, as she ties off Grell's hair. The top layers are braided back, all pulled up into a high ponytail. She smiles in triumph. ]
Oh, yes. Those would be lovely. More likely to keep you in one place, as well.
[ With a bit of a huff William gets up again, heading to the linen closet and finding a few quilts and some spare pillows. ]
Here.
[ He dumps them in Grell's lap, a pillow or two bonking her one the head in the process. That's when the door bell rings and he leaves the two redheads to sort out the bedding while he fetches the food. ]
[ By the time he's back, Grell has draped a blanket over the couch, and lined its back with pillows, leaving a blanket over each arm rest for them to share. She drapes herself across with a happy sigh, grabbing one of the pillows to hug against her chest. ]
[ The smack actually does startle her, as she'd rolled onto her stomach to watch them from her new perch. All giggles, she rolls right off the couch to crawl over and grab herself a plate, too. ]
I didn't realise how hungry I was until now... [ Picking up some of the crab dish, she gives it a taste test resulting in a very satisfied hum. ]
[ Settling back on the couch, William takes a moment think on how nice it is to have someone here with him. Two people no less. Sure he'll complain about something later on, but he has to admit, to himself, certainly not aloud, that it's relieving. ]

[ His own eyes shift to Grell, as well. And to think he's willingly allowing her to climb onto his bed. Asked even! ]
I find it comfortable, yes. You'll just have to tolerate it, unless you'd prefer the guest bed.
[ His own bag is placed beside his desk, where he chooses to sit, instead. ]

Trying to get rid of me already, are you?
no subject
Hmm, it isn't bad. Just don't try bouncing on it again, you silly thing. It's meant to ease your back, but you'll go about throwing it out that way.
no subject
Merely throwing the option out.
[ Be certain he'll throw her out if she presses her luck with him this week. ]
I don't know what we have in the kitchen, as far as food is concerned. We may have to shop tomorrow.

Why don't we go take a look? I could use a snack, if I'm honest.
[ Sitting up, she smooths her hair back and skirt down! ]

Unless anyone favours the idea of instant potatoes on crisps. [ With a breath of amusement, she'll close up the pantry, hand on her hip. ]
But ordering out-- now, that sounds fun! Perhaps we could get into our nighties and put on some flicks in the meanwhile?
no subject
Oh, that sounds divine~

How does Chinese sound? We can share some rice and noodles. Eggrolls, maybe? [ With Grell on her feet, she pats the other lady's cheek. ]

In the meanwhile, are there some spare throws we could fetch? Pillows, even?

Yes, this will do.

You got quite the selection, it looks like. We'll surely have some to hold us through 'til we get to the market, hm? [ A laugh. ]

[ Some plates are brought out next, along with a few bottle of water. ]
This is all I have to offer for drinks. Unless either of you want to wait for tea.
[ It's obvious he'd rather eat than boil water, though, and begins to serve himself a few appetizers to start. ]
no subject
Tea can come later, then.
[ Reaching over, she smacks Grell on the bottom. ]
Come on, come on~. I won't be serving you.
