William dropped down from his horse. It had been a long ride - from London straight down to the southern coast of England. But he'd barely stopped, only doing so when his horse refused to go further without rest and water. But each time, William did little more than tap his foot anxiously, trying to focus on anything but his thoughts of what happened the day before.
But now that he'd arrived, there was nothing else to distract him. The horse was forgotten as he walked towards where the English Channel extended out to what seemed like eternity. With the thick fog of the early morning, there was no telling just what was out there. William's breath was shaky as his gaze then drifted down. Beachy Head, a beautiful site for some, with the tall cliff towering over the shore line below. But for him, this day, it was his enemy - or perhaps his closes friend. Whichever the case, he was terrified.

[ He watches as his hands are slowly slid up her thighs. ]
Honestly, I have very little experience with this. I will admit to being a tad nervous.
[ He doesn't want to say that part of it is because of her male form. That could be misinterpreted and he'd rather not make her uncomfortable when she's suddenly gained so much confidence. ]

We could wait, if you'd like.
[ To be especially sure, she rides his hands over her hips, and down to grab her ass with a squeeze. With all that fabric draping, it still hides her most intimate areas, though. There isn't too much to take in at once, at least.
Her face is nearly too warm to handle, her chin tips down with a press of her lips. ]

[ He follows her silent instruction to grip at her behind, regardless. ]
A bit of a snog before bed.

I'm sorry. Though I wanted to see you content, I'd somehow forgotten that you aren't like the other men I've known.
[ She shifts to move off his lap, though she pulls at his hip, requesting he roll onto his side to face her. ]
Your heart is genuine.
[ And she certainly approves, if the nuzzle that she gives him says anything! ]

You've been used in the past, I take it.

I'm sorry, that was--... ah... I've really made a mess of things...

[ His brow knits together and he blinks, a bit perplexed. ]
If anything, I feel as though I've disappointed you with wanting to wait.
no subject
So I wasn't making you uncomfortable by being so forward...? Or--
[ A small right of relief, though it may come across as a huff! ]
You couldn't disappoint me, Will

Let's take a moment to discuss just what we're both expecting from this relationship. Since we seem to be confusing one another.
no subject
Ah... alright, you first, then...

[ He pauses for a moment, thinking those words over. ]
Showing emotion is not something I'm very good at, but it seems to come so much more naturally with you. I want that to continue. I want to see you smile everyday when I wake up beside you.
[ Oh gosh, now he's sounding mushy. He clears his throat, awkwardly. ]
See. That's precisely what I'm speaking of. Honestly, I can't recall ever saying something so romantic until now.

Clearly, we want the same things for one another. Perhaps we simply need to stop holding back.
[ She shifts a bit closer, hand cupping beneath his cheek. ]
You're well on your way, now. It's just me that must stop overthinking.

[ The arm draped around her middle pulls her a tad closer. ]

[ An edge of her smile pulls wider with a chuckle on her breath. ]
In these past months since knowing you, I've lived more than I had decades prior. I've learnt of happiness, acceptance, safety, love-- and I only wish to do the same for you.
[ Touching their noses lightly, her lashes hang low over her eyes, gaze adoringly searching those blue eyes of his. ]
There's nothing I would give you. Nothing I wouldn't do to see you safe. All I need is you.

[ As she's already so close, he barely has to lean in to touch his lips to hers. Short but soft kisses ensue, every so often one being accompanied by a content hum. ]

I never thought this would be the case, but I quite like it when you play with my hair.
no subject
Because you're so particular about it? Don't think I haven't noticed.

[ Defending himself while they're in this intimate embrace just proves Grell's point more. ]
no subject
[ Raking her nails along the hair at the nape of his neck, she pecks him lovingly, amusement on her breath! ]
no subject
[ If it will keep him in this relaxed mood, he certainly won't object. ]
no subject
[ Smooch! ]
As long as it should please you, I'll see to it that our time together is never wasted.

[ He allows her to kiss him with her gentle pecks, meanwhile his fingers have begun to idly play with the longer strands of her hair, as well. ]
no subject
[ Sighing a gentle vein against his lips, she just about melts under his touch. After having her hair pinned meticulously against her scalp all day, it feels like a bit of heaven. ]
no subject
[ Not very surprised by the fact, he's more curious on the matter. Rubbing at one's scalp seems like it'd be far more appealing than merely toying with the delicate ends. Still, he threads his fingers through a larger portion of it, amazed by just how soft the red strands are. ]
