Texting~!
Technology in the reaper realm always advanced much quicker than in the mortal world. How that was possible wasn't made quite clear, but every employee would have to agree that it made the job far more tolerable and almost manageable. Before they knew it, fancy new machines were showing up in their cubicles and offices. Large ones that could transfer writing from one sheet to countless others. An extremely convenient electronic typewriter that made the organization of files far more streamlined. And now, their newest administered device which allowed them to communicate between departments and even branches without having to travel. They called it a 'cellular phone.'

We'll make it so, however brief it must be.

I enjoy you mussing up my hair, as well. Though, I'd only allow it at times such as this.
no subject
Fair enough. I enjoy it, too. Mn, the memories I have of you, wearing your hair like this...

[ He continues the kisses between his words, even nibbling at her earlobe on occasion. ]
Quite unprofessional.
no subject
Perhaps not-- but it is sexy.

[ He finally pulls away from her neck, giving her a stern look before claiming her lips in an intimate kiss. ]

[ The words are uttered with a grin, against his lips, before she accepts his kiss with a delighted hum. Arms encircling his shoulders, she reciprocates in full! ]
no subject
What colour were your eyes before we met?
no subject
Hazel. Not especially remarkable, I think. [ Looking at William's eyes, she hums whilst trying to imagine anything else. ] Any yours?
no subject
[ He hums at the thought but doesn't seem the least bit disappointed in the real answer. ]
Odd how they change for all of us. I never quite understood.
no subject
[ Ah, now she's lost in his eyes! It takes her just a second too long to respond beyond that, humming contently. ]
I suppose we'll never know for certain-- but I've thought to myself before, that God must have a sick sense of humour in it. Eyes being the windows to the soul, and now, all that lies there is death...
[ A quirk of her lips, at that! ]
Superficially, anyway.
no subject
[ He shakes his head at the idea, finding it silly. ]
Honestly, it is a shame we need these spectacles to see one another.
no subject
[ Biting at the edge of her lip, she shoots him a sly look over the frames of those glasses! ]
Perhaps we don't. We're more than our sight, aren't we? [ The back of her nails trace along his jaw. ]
no subject
I can somewhat make you out at this distance.
no subject
What do you see?
no subject
[ If only William was one to make that sound like a joke. Unfortunately, he's just stating facts. ]
And the green of your eyes.
no subject
What else? [ Placing his hand on her cheek, she nuzzles into its palm. ]
no subject
Your lips.
no subject
What about them?
no subject
[ This might be the most flirtatious bit he's ever spoken, despite his voice being super monotone. ]
no subject
You know they are.
no subject
[ Finally, their desire is fulfilled as William takes her chin in hand and claims them. ]

His kisses draw sweet sounds from her, hands venturing down his back, hands finding the hem of his shirt to ride up, so that she may feel his skin and carefully rake her fingers across it. ]
