the woman.
[ She had always said that she was going to do it, but it took Grelle Sutcliffe just about two-hundred and fifty years to make good upon that oath.
The process was as complicated as they come, but everything simply had to be perfect. Genuine as one could get, with some cosmetic enhancements to round everything out— more literally than one might think.
It was said that scientific advancements in the spiritual realm preceded those in the physical by roughly seventy-five years, and despite how little she claims to know of it, the reaper followed it all quite closely. Genetic engineering had advanced so much that one could have organs - or entire limbs - lab-grown for replacement. It then became possible to alter the cellular makeup or such appendages, for aesthetic purposes, or even, their sex. Finally, sexual organ transplants were possible.
Equipped, as it were, Grelle also wished to soften her facial features and give her body the proper curves to rebalance her naturally masculine frame. Having it all done at once was the most excruciating thing she’s had to endure this far, but it was necessary, with how stingy management is at granting leave!
That said, she’s returned to office, though it won’t be until the end of the week that her medical release approves her return to field work.
But, first thing’s first; she must report to her supervisor. ]
How I’ve missed you❣️
[ Despite being out for nearly a month with very little contact, and an entirely new physique, the redheaded reaper has burst into his office as though nothing were out of the ordinary! ]

[ Despite being out for nearly a month with very little contact, and an entirely new physique, the redheaded reaper has burst into his office as though nothing were out of the ordinary! ]

[ He takes up his fork once more, this time daring to swipe a forkful of pasta from Grelle's plate. ]
no subject
Delightful, isn’t it?
[ Of course, that enables her to eye that lobster of his, doesn’t it? ]
And I believe its actually called sadism, my love.
no subject
That would explain quite a bit then, wouldn't it.

[ She’ll turn just enough to kiss his cheek, whilst cupping it’s opposite... and then, she pauses to tilt her head back to peer through the lenses of her glasses. Laughing, she picks up her napkin. ]
Oh dear. Thank goodness for the low lighting. You’ve taken on quite a bit of colour since we’ve arrived.
[ Wiping away the lipstick on his cheek is more difficult than it should be - so she dips the napkin into her water glass for a second go! ]
no subject
Stop that. I can clean it off myself.
[ He bats her hand away, quickly taking his own napkin in had to wipe away the dampness. ]
no subject
You might also want to do something about— [ She gestures about his mouth with a circle of the wrist. ]
no subject
Honestly, have they not figured out how to make lip colour that stays put?
no subject
[ With a wink, she kisses the air before his lips. ]
no subject
What in death's name is that supposed to mean?
no subject
You know... gloss on lips makes them appear fuller and whatnot?
no subject
[ Is that a thing? He knows nothing about make up, apparently. ]
I assumed you had some work done on your lips, as well. If not, then I suppose claim holds true.
no subject
Well, that, too.
[ The way she looks at him, there couldn’t possibly be more love in her eyes - nor a grin more smitten! ]
I think I rather like this, though... They’re like temporary little love marks~
no subject
Hardly temporary.
[ Though, better than a bite mark from those teeth of her's! Giving up, he tosses that ruined napkin aside and reclaims his wine with a sigh. ]
no subject
[ She follows suit with the wine! ]
Mm, I’ll give you a makeup wipe before we go.
no subject
[ Apparently, he wants it off now because he's hailing the waiter over. If she wants desert, he better say so now! ]
no subject
Oh, don’t tell me that has ruined your night.
[ She then shoots him a sly little grin. ]
Or are you just that eager to have me, alone? Hm~?
no subject
[ He states it simply enough before telling the waiter to box up what's left of their meals. ]
Is that not what you'd prefer?
no subject
[ So she says to the waitress, looking all too content to rest her hand on his thigh in another woman’s presence. ]
Of course I would. I just had to hear you say it. [ And while she speaks, she pulls out a box of wipes, pulling one free to dangle William’s way. ]
no subject
Get any more of that lip colour on me and I may just spend the rest of my night alone with that cake instead.
no subject
Shame. I would’ve loved to see it all over your handsome neck.
[ Sitting up straighter, she pulls out a mirror to check for smudging - and, somehow, SHE looks fine! ]
Taking full possession of the cake, though - that would issue war.
no subject
[ It's not long before the waitress is back and their food and check are presented to them. William retrieves his wallet, gladly paying for his lady's meal. A healthy tip is left, as well, before he stands, gathers up the bag of food, and offers Grelle his hand to stand. ]
Whose place shall we spend the remainder of the evening at?
no subject
[ Snapping closed her compact, she watches William, teeth pressing into her bottom lip just so. Despite being so tight-laced, he isn’t stingy with his money where it counts, and something about that is incredibly sexy to her. And this gentleman routine! She takes hold of his hand, fanning at herself with the other! ]
I want to see yours❤️. Not to mention, mine isn’t— quite impeccable, following this past month.
no subject
Perhaps I can light the fireplace, we can settle in the den and enjoy the rest of our meal. If you'd put the coffee on, I can fetch some of my pajamas to wear tonight.
no subject
Such a gentleman. I love this look on you.
[ Biting at her lip once more, she allows herself in. She follows him to the kitchen, but shamelessly takes in the detail of his flat as they go. ]
Coffee, hm? I suppose I should be able to manage that. [ A glance over, to meet his eyes. ] If it’s a bit sour, I’m certain that we can cleanse your palate with something a bit sweeter, anyway. Like the cake, of course.
no subject
You've made decent coffee at the office, I'm certain you can please me again.
[ With that he's off to his bedroom to change. He returns in a navy blue, slim cut shirt, black cotton pj pants and a near matching set for her. ]
I don't own anything red. You'll simply have to settle with this.
