[ It takes a minute, but slowly William starts to relax as he realizes letting Grell lean against him isn't that bad, after all. Well, it is causing a few of his housemates to say some rude comments at the other end of the table, but William pays that no mind, being completely uninterested in their opinions.

Eventually he takes up his fork again, continuing with his meal as Grell lingers on his shoulder. ]

[ As for Grell, she'll just flip them off, before nuzzling down closer and looping her arm around his. ]

I know who would make fabulous hex practice.

If you'd like to get expelled. Honestly, their opinions mean nothing to me.

[ Though he's sure they'll heckle him in the dorm later. If anything it's just an annoyance. Welp, guess he's exchanging one annoyance for another! ]

[ Grell shrugs with a hum, eyes closing confidently! ]

That's only if I get caught. [ And, a mere beat later-- ] Though, I'm glad♥.

No.

[ Grell's his only friend and he's finally opening up. He's not gonna let her get herself expelled! ]

No? [ She repeats, laughter on her breath. ]

Fine, fine. I suppose they're not worth our time, anyway.

[death_glare]

They're not. They're simply looking for a reaction. Though, I have to say, treading that line with you just shows their stupidity even more.

[ Even though he told her no hexing, he wouldn't be surprised if she uses her fists instead. ]

[ Ah, Grell is much too flattered that William recognises her viciousness! Indeed, those boys will face some terrible mishaps in a few days' time - but, meanwhile, she's looking up at him with fondness in her eyes, simply giggling! ]

Well, well! I see you two worked things out.

[ With a hand propped upon her hip, Ann laughs. ]

And to think, I'd expected to return to a table in shambles.

[death_glare]

[ William shakes his head at Ann's comment, frowning at her over his shoulder. ]

Our argument wasn't that bad.

[spiderlilies]

Oh, I don't know. Grell can be just a bit dramatic, and you're both incredibly stubborn, it seems.

[ Settling down at the opposite side of William now, Ann leans over to wink at Grell. ]

A bit dramatic? [ Grell closes her eyes with a huff, squeezing William's arm just a bit tighter. ] If you're going to talk like that, at least give me the credit I deserve.

[ He doesn't comment on the stubborn part, but his expression says she hit the mark. ]

Exhaustively dramatic.

Ah, I-- suppose that's more like it.

[ With a playful pout, she only proves their point with a whine! ]

You're both so mean to meee♥...

[ Ann chuckles, as she fixes to prepare herself another cup of tea. ]

We know, you love it. [ She hums an affirmative to her own statement. ] And we love that you're never boring. Isn't that right, Will?

You're certainly not boring. Whether or not I always love it is up for debate.

[spiderlilies]

Up for debate hardly means denial, I'd say.

[ Closing her eyes, she gently blows at her tea before taking a sip. ]

[ Grell croons, shoulders wiggling - and thus, swaying William right along with her. ]

Ah♥~, and I love you both, also~♥♥♥

[ Not into the swaying one bit, William gives Grell a good jab in the middle with the elbow she's clung to. He looks to Ann, not able to deny her claim. ]

The fact that I'm sitting here should have stated that plainly enough already.

Oh, I know that. Grell is less perceptive, is all.

[ She shoots them both a devious little smile. ]

[ She scoffs! ] Alright, alright--

[ Grell grabs a dinner roll to toss at her! ]

Enough teasing already, you little minx♥

[ William instinctively ducks to avoid the roll. ]

Why don't the two of you go flirt elsewhere. I would like to finish my meal before the next class starts.

[ Of course, they couldn't let William go that easily - but they did offer him some space to finish up his meal while they chatted away.

Come curfew, Ann slipped Grell one of the potions - and from there, it was simple; she was to follow her companion into the dorms once granted access, and hide in the bathrooms until the girl could talk her bunk mates into loaning her the room alone for some 'private study'. With a fair share of giggles and winks, they were convinced to move to the common room. While Grell safely moved into Angelina's bunk, the other redhead made her way to William's dorm - softly rapping at the door frame. ]

William? Are you still willing to go over that arithmancy formula with me?

[death_glare]

[ Of course Ann gets a suspicious frown when she calls to him. If the events of the day were any hint at all arithmancy tutoring was far from what she actually had planned. The few other boys in the room apparently caught the flirtatious tone to Ann's voice and edge William on to joining her. ]

If I must.

[ Dare he say he'd rather join the two redheads than have to listen to his bunkmates tease him! ]

Wonderful.

[ Playfully quirking her brow at his bunkmates, Ann turns to leave him following after her. ]

I'm surprised you're playing along so nicely. [ She exchanges with him quietly, once finally catching up. ]
