[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ Surprisingly pleased with their finds, William is even more optimistic about Grell's taste in men's wear. Aside from a few eyebrow raising items, he finds himself liking most of the items she picks for him. ]

Did Knox willingly agree to this or did he owe you something?

[ He shuffles the bags around in his free arm before coming to his senses and whisking them off into hammerspace. ]

It was mutually beneficial. I gave solid input on how to impress the ladies, he held my bags!

[ There's a huff as he realises he was falling into that role only moments before. ]

[ Standing herself more upright, her eyes search the clouds as she works that out in her mind! ]

[ A fairly expected answer. He's quiet for a beat as if mulling something over. ]

[ He thinks on it a moment longer before deciding it's not that important. ]

Long and red, of course. I thought it was a gown until I realized the bottom portion were trousers. Honestly, I dont know what you would call that. But the front came down in a V.

[ He demonstrates with his free hand, drawing a line from his outer shoulder down to mid chest height. ]

[ It's when he mentions the plunging neckline that the mental image clicks into place, and her face perks with recollection. ]

Oh, how could I forget that ensemble, with all the scolding I received! [ She snerks. ] But you remembering such a thing, I must say, makes me-- quite happy, actually!

Honestly, it may have been the first time I'd found myself aware of my sexual attraction to you.

[ With an excited gasp, her fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt! ]

Did you get tipsy to blame it on the alcohol? [ She leans in nearer, voice quieter, huskier. ] Pleasure yourself at the party?

Of course not. I have far more public decency than that.

[ He sounds almost offended that she'd suggest that of him. ]

I simply ignored it. A bad decision, in retrospect.

[ The redhead pouts in disappointment. ]

Indeed. Set us back another forty-five years.

[ She swoops in to kiss his cheek! ]

[ She should also he happy that he's stopped wiping her kisses off his cheek...and then rushing off to wash his hands! ]

[ Blinking, her head tilts back, lips quirked with a lengthy hum. ]

How attuned are you to office gossip?

Honestly, what do you think the answer to that is? I never had time to pay it any mind.

Okay, goodness! [ Her lips quirk with a huff. ] I made a love potion of your coffee once. Coincidentally, you had come down with a violent stomach ache after lunch...

[ He opens his mouth to comment on why she would think a love potion is a real thing, only to have the memory of that day coming to him. It gets him to stop short, a rather displeased look on his face. ]

That was your fault? [ Why is he surprised, really. ] I was vomiting for near an hour.

Well, it might've worked. Look at you now!

[ Ok, she might have to turn away to hide that flickering smile! ]

[ Too bad she turned away, cause he won't see that smack upside her head coming. ]

What did you even put in there?

[ With a yelp, she clings her weight to his arm in order to stay upright on her feet, head cradled against his shoulder. ]

I-- I think it was the rain water! London air isn't the cleanest...
