[ Delight brightens her eyes, before a smile touches her lips. ]

[ At last, she takes a bite out of her food - and closes her eyes with a content sigh. ]

[ With a nod, he makes the decision to ask when he first gets to the office. ]

If he agrees, then I can assist you in moving your things.

[ Blinking, Grell's fingers linger over her lips as she chews, until she has the opportunity to answer. ]

That isn't any way to unwind, you know.

It will be better than sitting here alone, thinking on it.

[ After a drink he continues. ]

I would rather stay along side you. For both of us.

[ Ah, now, that brings a kiss of colour to her cheeks! ]

W-when you put it that way, how could I refuse...

Good. Remain here, then. If I am not back by noon, you can assume I was declined.

[ The redhead nods - and though she's looking down at her plate, there's a smile on her lips. ]

I'll be rooting for you in spirit, Will.

[ He pauses, then. ]

I believe you are the first person to call me Will instead of William.

[ Biting at her lip, she goes a bit wide-eyed as she peeks up at him to gauge his reaction. ]

Is-- that a bad thing?

No. I may say I rather like it.

[ He thinks on it for a moment before nodding. ]

[ Easing with relief, warmth touches her features. ]

I'll make it a point to call you so more often, then.

[ He makes a pleased hum before finishing off the rest of his meal. Then he's rising up to move his plate to the sink. ]

I wouldn't think there's any shortened variation on your name.

Mn, it's a challenging one. Can't say anyone has figured out a suitable variation of it yet.

[ Really, she needs to get better about multitasking while she eats. She ends up shoving half an egg into her mouth just to catch up. ]

Hm. Perhaps something will come to me.

[ A nickname is never something William's used for someone. For some reason, the idea seems to make him even more comfortable around her, as if he can let go and relax a bit. It's relieving. ]

[ To think that she could be endeared to someone enough that she might receive a nickname... it's not something that she ever considered, nor thought important-- but, well, it has her grinning into her mug! ]

I couldn't imagine what.

[ William exits the room, intending to shave and straighten up the rest of his outfit. Though in the back of his mind he's running through name options. ]

[ Once Grell finishes her food, she leaves her coat draped over the back of her chair and rolls up her sleeves. If she's to be in the house until noon, she figures that she may as well wash their dishes.

Though, at this rate, she pay fool poor William into thinking that she's a competent housemate. She grimaces at the thought!

By the time he returns, said dishes have been laid out to dry, and she's wiping down the counter, for she has managed to get it and herself quite wet! Her shirt is visibly stuck to her along her front. ]

[ William returns, looking quite dapper. Noticing the kitchen has been cleaned up, he's about to thank Grell when he sees the state of her shirt. ]

Did something spill?

[ Grell jumps a bit when he speaks, but once she looks up to see him, she visibly relaxes. Noting the state of his dress, a corner of her mouth pulls into a silly little smile, too.

She might say that he looks quite handsome--- until she recalls that he's said something! ]

Hm? Ah--! No-no, I've only got myself to blame for this one...

[ It's then he notices the water along the counter top and the wet cloth in her hand. ]

Ah. You should dry you shirt before heading out.

[ Looking down at herself, she sighs. ]

Y-yes... It should hopefully be decent by the time you've returned. If all goes well, that is...

[ She reaches up to loosen her necktie. ]

[ He heaves his own sigh, apparently not having high hopes about the request he'll make. ]

Hopefully both will happen.

[ With that he's gathering up his hat and bag and bidding her farewell until he's able to return home. Which, thankfully, his father agrees to! A long weekend, at that! ]

[ It seems that, in his absence, Grell had found his book collection and chose one to entertain herself in - after changing back into the sleeping gown she'd been loaned. Walking around in simply trousers simply felt too awkward.

Paired with the throw on the lounge seat, she'd become so comfortable that she's fallen sound asleep! ]

[ When William returns home, he initially thinks Grell has taken off. He silently curses himself for being so foolish, until he hears the slight snoring. Peering over the back of the lounge, he sees her tucked cosily beneath one of his blankets and breathes a sigh of relief. ]

Grell...

[ He nudges her shoulder. ]

[ With a sharp breath, Grell comes to - but as soon as her lids flutter open to the sigh of him, she relaxes with a sleepy sigh, settling her hand over his. ]

Will... What time is it...
