[ What began as a heated conversation seemed to earn the curiosity of the lobby's dawdlers and passer-bys-- until it became downright explosive. The boisterous tone of voice was all too recognisable, for everyone there had found themselves subjected to Grell's charades at least once, and for most, that was one time too many. The smartest of them would turn on heel and leave the direction they came.

Unfortunately, those that were in the immediate vicinity wouldn't have such privilege. A foolish, albeit good-hearted young woman had just stepped between Grell and the target of her aggression, in hopes of diffusing the situation. Instead, the enraged redhead snatched the new receptionist by the hair. ]

Oh, is this what it's all about, then! This wagtail bitch?!

[ Immediately, several reapers jump in to take Grell's arms and detach her. While they are successful, it only earns a face-splitting grin from her - for, now, she has a better distraction. Flipping one man over her shoulder, she gives him a splitting kick before turning on the rest of them. It's nothing short of a brawl. ]

What do you think I've been doing?

[ He indicates the lack of tie or waistcoat on his person. ]

[ That gets a snerk out of her. ]

If you want to go there, I think you could do better.

[ His answer is near immediate. ]

[ Okay, now she erupts into a delighted laugh! ]

Where have you put your pajamas, you silly man?

I brought a small bag. I suppose I'll be changing into them eventually, anyway.

[ he'll take a satisfying sip of his gin before rising from the couch to get his bag. Considering the reapers flats are rather cookie cutter, he knows where to find the bathroom without asking and heads that way.

A short amount of time passes before he reemerges wearing a boring set of striped pj bottoms and button up top. He reclaims his seat on the couch. ]

[ Grell croons as she hears him approach, pulling herself away from the glass long enough that she may turn to see what he's wearing. Her teeth sink into her lip as she resists laughter, but she doesn't do a very good job at it. ]

Is that what you'll wear to seduce your lady into bed with you?

[ He looks his outfit up and down, frowning. ]

I shouldn't need to seduce her at all if we're to be a couple.

[ Brows knitting in disbelief, her grin falls lopsided! ]

Wouldn't you wish to project the desire you feel for her, Will? For her to be sexually attracted to you?

What would you suggest I wear then?

[ That doesn't mean he's open to it! ]

[ Biting at the edge of her lip, she looks over him with a hum. ]

You want a lighter fabric with more movement, first of all - it would contour your body, and you could leave the top two buttons undone so that it may drape with an effortless sexiness. You can keep the stripes, but opt for a solid top. Perhaps pair it with a robe to match the bottoms, if you want to look a tad more put together. Give her something to take apart...

[ He's having a bit of trouble envisioning it, but he's trying. ]

You're not a fan of clothed sex, I assume.

[ Shooting him something of a bewildered look, her fingertips graze her chest! ]

You must be joking.

[ Next, that hand grazes up her thigh-- pushing up her lacy kimono robe to better show off her matching mini shorts and chemise. ]

It's about texture and layers, you know? Personality!

[ His eyes follow the trail of her fingers before he realises and reestablishes eye contact. ]

You've certainly showcased your own well enough.

[ He rounds the couch, reclaiming his seat. ]

[ Well, that was strange - but extraordinarily satisfying. Not that she wants him, you know. It's just nice to be wanted! It's the alcohol to blame, surely. Surely. ]

Why, Will. That almost sounded like a compliment.

[ Holding her glass to her chest, she bats her eyes! ]

I suppose you deserve one from me every now and then.

[ William swirls the gin around his glass. He's not sure why he'd given her a look over. Must have been the alcohol. Yet, it doesn't seem to stop him from taking another sip. ]

[ Shoulders raising with a sway, she croons. ]

I suppose I do♥.

[ Leaning forward, she pecks his cheek - and then, she's up to her feet once more! Flamboyant as ever, she strolls over to put the opera back on, albeit very much lower in volume this time. Reasonable for ambience and conversation purposes.

She'd taken a sip from her glass on the way over, and now, she's taking another whilst returning! Looks like it's time for a repour.]

What if I were to give you a makeover.

[ William takes up the bottle, holding it out to give her a refill, but he pauses at her comment. ]

Not in drag, I should hope.

[ It's only a split second that she's pouting at the delay, for his response gets a good laugh out of her. ]

Only if it should suit your fancy, my dear!

It doesn't.

[ He resumes tilting the bottle enough to fill her glass halfway. ]

Though, I am open to hearing your other clothing suggestions.

[ Batting her lashes, she raises her glass just so, in silent thanks. ]

A shame that I can't just dress you up, myself! Your frame exceeding mine, and all.

[ Now that her glass in ready, she'll hold out her hand to him! ]

But I can still play with your hair~

[ William leaves her offered hand there to, instead, protectively smooth out his hair. ]

No. What is there to even do to it?

[ With a huff, that hand curls to rest against Grell's hip! ]

Oh, it's just for fun. What, did you have any engagements this evening that I should know about?

[ William's frustrated look suddenly turns icy cold. Seems he didn't like that choice of words. ]

That isn't funny.

[ For a moment, Grell is genuinely confused - and then indignant, because why is he so upset!! Of course, then it dawns on her, and she's left gasping at her own folly. A long, drawn out, breathy gasp! ]

Oh, dear God, I didn't mean that.

[ Her glass is left at the side table so that she may sink to her knees, arms folded over his arm, chin atop them. She peers up at him with big, pleading eyes, only partly done in jest! ]

Terrible fault in my words. Will you ever forgive me?

[ William just looks down at her, frown unmoving. Finally, he leans forward to put his glass upon the table next to hers. Hand now free, he smacks her firmly on the head. ]

Have some sense to think before you speak. Honestly.

[ In William's way, this is forgiveness! ]
