All Work & No Play
[Honestly, they're all exhausted - not tired but just worn out physically - after getting called all the way over here to help deal with a sudden rapid spike of missing souls which had been caused, unsurprisingly by an influx of demons. It was an odd thing and they still needed to pinpoint the origin of this matter, after all. Neither they nor the Paris Reapers could figure out what can caused an entire legion of Hells most foul to ascend on the city of lights.
Thankfully, with the five of them working pulled through just fine even if Alan was just a junior and Ronald was a rookie still.
At least the hotel was nice even if they had to bunk up; two beds to each room. At least they had adjoining rooms so if they wanted they could throw the door between the two rooms open and interact.
Alan closed the field kit he'd been using to tend even their most minor of injuries; huffing out a tired but relieved breath. His chest ached just slightly and his shoulders slumped a little bit.]
Well, that was certainly interesting if I don't say so myself. I know we've still got a few more days here in the city just to make sure things are well in hand an find answers, but what do we do for now? I mean - what do you even do in Paris?
[He turned toward his bed where a rather large suitcase was tucking the field kit away. He'd brought a few things with him. They'd put all their belongings into this singular suitcase - fresh suits, documentations they needed when they went to Paris's dispatch branch for briefings and reports, a few other odds and ends.]

He's actually undressing in front of her??? And for some reason, it hasn't occurred to him yet, so she musn'nt blow it!
Pointed teeth catch her bottom lip, Grell's arms swing behind her back with idle humming. Why, she'll even turn on heel to take a seat on her own bed. (If only because she knows William would switch beds otherwise, but nonetheless.) ]
Oh, come now. Fresh meat, though he may be, he isn't a spring lamb. Ronald is a big boy, he'll suffer the consequences of his actions like the lot of us.
[ Yep, she's going to hold off on that shower for now. Just gonna sit here, so very casual, removing her gloves and tie and arm bands, nice and leisurely... ]

Well, he is a big boy that's true but he's still my junior and as his Mentor I worry about him.
[ Just now with the drinking but what if Ronald hits on the wrong girl before she dies and her soul lashes out? What if Alan didn't train him well enough on how to deal with things? He had very real concerns but it was just easier to play it off as him being concerned about his rookie getting absolute and utterly tanked. ]
Good thing I told the bars close by he belongs with us and our rooms then. They'll let us know or steer him this way. They know to ask for me.
[ Which was a pretty common place thing because he knows how Ronald an Eric get when they're sloshed. They can be quite the handful separately but together it's a perfect storm of absolute chaos. ]

[Is he really going to sleep next to Alan? Don't get distracted be cool.]

Much the Grell's approval, William does the same as Alan, casually dressing down. Shoes and waist coat tucked away in the provided closet, and, perhaps surprisingly, the top two buttons of his shirt undone, relieving him of that stiff collar he's always chosen to wear. For the moment, though, he hasn't noticed the hungry look on Grell's face. ]
He best get his work done. As should you all.

Yes, well, let that put this tired subject to rest, yes?
[ So much eye candy... she's definitely in need of loosening her own collar right about now! ]
Hmn, I could actually go for a nightcap, myself... What do you say, boys?
no subject
Mm, either way things will be fine.
[ Alan doesn't make a habit of it. But even he can admit that a drink wouldn't be uncalled for. ]
Maybe. One wouldn't hurt I don't think. Something not too strong?

Limited selection.
[ He takes up one of the bottles, which is substantially smaller than one you would purchase at a liquor store. He glances at the price attached to it's lid and immediately puts it back. ]
One of us will need to make a trip out. This is not worth the price they are charging.

Do you mean to tell me that I’m the only one that’s come prepared?
[ Unzipping the luggage, she rummages for but a moment, before she has a sizable bottle of wine to show off! ]

Packing alcohol wasn't exactly something I thought we might need for a work trip.
[ Even so. He's stepping back into his shoes. ]
That being said, if I know any of you well enough one bottle of wine certainly isn't going to be enough or even strong enough so -
[ And he's just shrugging back into his vest and shoving his sleeves up. ]
Tell me what you like and I'll go fetch it.

Gin.
[ At this point, all of dispatch should know what William's drink of choice is, but he states it firmly enough anyway. ]
no subject
Well! I’m all set, then! I have everything I need, right here. [ So she says, winking William’s way! ]

[ He may feel just the tiniest bit guilty at leaving William by himself with Grell but that's likely a good idea since Alan doesn't drink that often. While it's true he could figure out what they wanted if he took his time looking at every bottle on the shelves 'til he found a familiar one it would be best to have Eric there. ]
Well, that's good. You can help me pick my own wine.
[ No offense to Grell but he doesn't like red. Maybe he'll go with Riesling most likely. That and he truly has no idea what Eric favors. True he's gone out with him and to collect him from bars and pubs but the drink is rarely the same.]

We can do better than wine.
