All Work & No Play
[Honestly, they're all exhausted - not tired but just worn out physically - after getting called all the way over here to help deal with a sudden rapid spike of missing souls which had been caused, unsurprisingly by an influx of demons. It was an odd thing and they still needed to pinpoint the origin of this matter, after all. Neither they nor the Paris Reapers could figure out what can caused an entire legion of Hells most foul to ascend on the city of lights.
Thankfully, with the five of them working pulled through just fine even if Alan was just a junior and Ronald was a rookie still.
At least the hotel was nice even if they had to bunk up; two beds to each room. At least they had adjoining rooms so if they wanted they could throw the door between the two rooms open and interact.
Alan closed the field kit he'd been using to tend even their most minor of injuries; huffing out a tired but relieved breath. His chest ached just slightly and his shoulders slumped a little bit.]
Well, that was certainly interesting if I don't say so myself. I know we've still got a few more days here in the city just to make sure things are well in hand an find answers, but what do we do for now? I mean - what do you even do in Paris?
[He turned toward his bed where a rather large suitcase was tucking the field kit away. He'd brought a few things with him. They'd put all their belongings into this singular suitcase - fresh suits, documentations they needed when they went to Paris's dispatch branch for briefings and reports, a few other odds and ends.]

How lucky those two are.
[ Glancing over her shoulder at William, she hums with a can’t of her brows! ]
They’re wrong about the wine, though. Still, more for me!
[ She sets the bottle down on the table they’ve been provided - next to the ice bucket and drinking glasses. ]
Unless, you’d care to join me?
no subject
[ What he will do, though, is take that ice bucket. Grell won't be needing any in her wine, but he'll certainly want some for his drink. He's certain he saw the ice machine down the hall, when they'd first exited the elevator. Taking that task upon himself will mean less time with Grell tossing flirtatious glances his way!
There is the briefest pause, however, curiosity getting the better of him. ]
Lucky in what sense?

There’s a window behind the table, and she’s keen on opening it. Drawing the curtains, she sighs at the view! ]
They’re both keen on one another, sharing a night on the streets of Paris.
[ Unlatching the window, she pulls it open to lean out and take a breath. Her smile has lessened. She’s jealous. ]
They would be smart not to waste it.
no subject
[ Though he can't imagine Alan would let him sit here for too long, waiting on the drink he requested. And until it does arrive, Grell will find it rather diffucult to get anything other than a bad mood from him. ]
no subject
And miss this? Not a chance!
no subject
We see one another on a near daily basis already.

In case you’ve forgotten, we just pulled a double-shift, and even I require some beauty rest.
[ By now, she’s closed the distance between them, and reaches up to pat his cheek. ]
Anyway, it wouldn’t hold the same excitement for me.
no subject
[ Realising he just misinterpreted her meaning in a super egotistical way has him feeling a bit foolish. Enough so that he misses dodging that face pat. Which just adds more to the feeling!
Better cover it up with a good oldfashioned adjustment of his glasses. ]

If you are on your way out, however, I think that I’ll steal the shower. And you could always join me if you make it back in time. [ Wink! ]
no subject
I am not joining you. We have another shower I can use.
no subject
Now, that’s not the point, and you know it💖.

[ He doesn't even bother looking at her while he responds, just speaking loud enough that she can hear him perfectly while he makes his way towards the ice machine. ]
no subject
[ Calling after him, she probably shouts that louder than is needed— and that’s entirely on purpose!
When he returns, he won’t find the door locked; in fact, she’s flipped out the deadbolt to hold it open for him, because he’s probably left his key in the room. It could have been the perfect opportunity for revenge, but, nah. She’d rather have him around. ]

Swinging open the bathroom door, she’s in a cute matching sleeping short and robe set, a drying at her hair with a spare towel. ]
You back, Will?
[ Having left her glasses on the vanity so they wouldn’t fog, she definitely can’t see him just yet? ]
no subject
[ She won't see but he does give her outfit a look over.
Too bad! ]
Where are your glasses?
[ She will get scolded, though. Even though the answer to his question is entirely obvious. ]
no subject
She chuckles. ]
Right here. I wasn’t going to put them on the back of the toilet, you know.
[ Picking them up, she juggles them with a flaunt! Her moisturizer is still in her bag, so she’s going to walk over and plop her bottom down on the bed, rummaging for it - her glasses on the side table. ]
Enjoying your ice?
no subject
Considering they haven't returned with anything for me to make use of it with, no.
[ Like her, William has changed into his own sleep clothes. Super boring and unflattering, unfortunately. ]
no subject
Hm! Well, good for them.
[ Looking William over, a smirk twinges at her lips. And then, she’s extending a leg to rest on his knee, so that she can apply some body moisturizer! ]
no subject
Must you? I am not a foot rest.
[ Yet he's not shoving her foot off, perhaps a bit curious about this routine of hers. ]
no subject
And yet, you have the most welcoming lap. I could just— climb right into it. [ She says, leaned in to massage the cream over her shin! ] But, a foot rest will do.
no subject
What is the sense in all this, anyway?
[ He leans forward just enough to snatch up the moisturizer bottle and look over its label. ]
no subject
It mitigates the effects of dry skin, first of all - and leaves you feeling irresistible.
[ Since he’s got the bottle, she holds out her palm to him. ]
Give me a squirt, will you? [ A chuckle. ] I’d invite you to feel for yourself, but it hasn’t had a chance to set in!
no subject
You do realise I won't be taking you up on that offer, regardless.
no subject
My goodness, Will!
[ Trying to figure out what to do with it, she extends her other leg to join the first, dabbing it around so that she can run it in momentarily. ]
Ah, well, your loss. I take exceptionally good care of my skin.
