[ Not sensing his eyes wandering once, she hums with some amusement! So he's a gentleman, after all! ]

Done already? Don't go leaving me alone in here, okay♥?

[ It's true, she's only just massaged the conditioner into her ends! Just to be on the safe side, she will hastily rinse it so she can wash down her body. ]

[ He doesn't reply, but when she's finally done, he'll be sitting in the dressing area, lacing up his shoes, his towel still draped over his damp hair. ]

[ Grell grins, seeing him-- but she won't say anything, either. She places her soap back into the locker and searches for her panties amidst her clothes. ]

You should try for that second position, you know.

[ Discarding her towel to the bench, she wiggles into them so that she may get dressed properly. ]

Winning's got nothing to do with it. Just would be a crime for you to leave this all behind, you know.

I do enjoy it.

[ He ruffles his hair with the towel, making it even messier looking than usual. Then slips his glasses back on and folds up the towel. It's when he turns to return it to his locker that he inadvertently gets a look at Grell's choice of undergarments. He pauses for the briefest moment before refocusing on the task at hand. ]

[ Tragically, Grell will never know it. She's much too focused on dressing herself, hoping to look halfway presentable for Ann at supper. ]

You're also quite good at it.

[ Once she's at least tucked her shirt into her trousers, the redhead pushes back her locker door to look into the mirror she's stuck to it, leaning in close to make certain that her makeup stayed put. To her horror, it's her eyes that have reddened, though! She gasps! ]

Oh no... I think allergies have gotten to me...

[ The ONE place red doesn't look cute on her. ]

[ Brushing the image out of his mind, he's thankful Grell didn't notice him look. He closes his own locker and attempts to flatten his hair as much as the short strands will allow. He really is considering growing it out a bit. ]

Are you allergic to birds?

[ He squints at her face, nodding that they do look quite red. ]

I don't know... Maybe it was just all the sweeping.

[ With a dramatic sigh, she digs into her locker! ]

Not that I'm allergic to chores, though I might as well be; it's the dust, I mean!!

[ Ah, she found it, her spare contacts kit! She sits down on the bench, intensely focused on opening the little case and filling it with solution. Sitting back, then, she sticks a finger into her eye to pop out a lens! ]

[ He watches her switch out her contacts with an unpleasant look on his face. ]

Honestly, I don't know how anyone can wear those.

[ After she's plopped them both into their case, she gives her eyes a hard squint. ]

Have you ever tried to? The freedom is quite nice... [ Now, for eyedrops! She sighs with some relief, as the liquid soothes her eyes. ]

Now... I hope I remembered to bring them... [ She says while snatching her coat, digging into its charmed pockets. She'll grab a few makeup products by mistake before she finds the case that she's looking for, exclaiming a triumphant croon when she does. ] Yes!

[ Putting on a pair of cute little red frames, she tosses their case right back in. Might as well touch up her makeup before she replaces those, though. ]

I don't mind wearing them. Honestly, I think I look a bit odd without them, having worn them for practically my entire life.

[ He's not surprised by the amount of makeup she pulls out of that pocket, nor by the color of her frames. ]

How long is this going to take you, because I will head back on my own if it's not a quick fix.

[ With a tick of her tongue and an indignant sniff, Grell flips open an eye palette to make certain that nothing has budged. ]

Rude. You've clearly never waited on a lady.

[ Using her finger to smudge out a bit of liner, she hums. ]

I'm presentable enough, in any case. Primer is a wonder.

No I never have.

[ If she listens well enough, she might hear a tinge of sadness to that reply. ]

I should hope Angelina wouldn't care whether your makeup was perfect or not.

[ Indeed, she does. It earns a glance from the redhead, and she decides that she can settle on what she has, indeed. ]

Mn, she's seen me without it, even. It's just-- you know, wanting to look one's best for that special someone!

[ With everything put away, she gets up to pull on her blazer. Only catching a glimpse at her hair - less soft, and more wildly spiky without its styling - she snaps her locked closed with a dramatic sigh. ]

But it's hopeless, anyway.

[ William sighs, as well. Though, less dramatic and more exasperated. He'd tell her she looks fine but that will just open up a whole new conversation that he doesn't feel like having now. Or ever. ]

Are you ready, then? Dinner should have started already. I'm sure she's wondering where you are.

[ With a nod, Grell stands up straighter, putting on that good old veil of confidence! ]

You're right, let's go! [ Heading for the exit, she pulls up her collar closer to her neck with a mild shiver. With wet hair, it's positively freezing out! ] I'm also starving.

[ William doesn't say much on their walk back to the castle. Nor does he follow along behind Grell when they enter the dining hall. Instead he takes his usual spot towards the back end of the Slytherin table where not many others crowd. ]

[ Grell is surprised by his sudden disappearance, without a word-- well, momentarily. It does seem like something he would do, upon thinking on it.

It won't be long that he sits alone, though. After all, Ann sits at the same table, and he's easy enough to spot. ]

Don't do that. Leaving without a word is just strange, you know. And rude.

[ She's setting down a plate for Ann, which the other redhead had made prior to them arriving. Surprisingly, she places it so that the lady may sit between them. ]

Especially when I got the both of you presents.

[ Daintily sitting herself down, the manner in which she dumps William's 'gift' onto his plate is quite aggressive, by contrast! It's an oversized baggie of chocolate chip cookies, tied off with a bow. ]

Someone mentioned that you have a very particular palette, and I may have felt sorry for the two of you, stuck back here today.

[death_glare]

[ He sighs as they approach. He should have foreseen this, really. ]

I was leaving you to be with Angelina. Though, I see I should have just followed along.

[ Blinking at the bag suddenly dropped on his empty dinner plate, he looks to Ann. ]

Ah. You didn't have to do this.

[ The bag is opened and its contents inspected. Normal look and smell, good. He takes one out to save for after dinner. ]

Thank you, I suppose.

[ Seemingly appeased by the gratitude, however suspicious he may have been, she closing her eyes with a nod, smiling. ]

Just one? That's for you. All of it.

[ Grell slips an arm around the other redhead's waist, pressing a kiss to her temple. ]

Is my present a kiss~? [ Kyaa. ]

For now, yes. I'd like them to last a bit.

[ Though once Grell starts getting snuggly with Ann, William turns his attention to the food that appears before them, not saying another word.

[ Ann bops Grell's nose with a finger. ]

Please, dear. Those are free.

[ Not that she's going to give her one, just yet! ]

But I'm glad you're so easy to impress!

[ Picking up her bag to place on her lap, she opens the flap and gestures for Grell to peek inside. There's a bundle of vials, tied together to keep them from clamouring around. ]

Invisibility potions. You'll come visit me more often now. [ She peeks over at William. ] And William, too, I suppose. [ Wink. ]

[ Grell gasps in awe! ]

That's just brilliant, Ann--!

You can't go sneaking into our dorm.

[ His voice is stern and reprimanding but still low enough in volume so no one around them will hear. ]
