[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ Despite his mild threat, knowing that he's become comfortable in having a shared space with her leaves her smiling brilliantly. She cranes in to give him another kiss, brief but tender. ]

Or you can do something else to my face.

We just woke up. And we need to bathe.

[ He pushes back from her, rubbing sleepily at his eyes. ]

[ With a pout and a huff, she rolls over to push herself up! ]

Fine. So mean.

[Running her hands up her face and into her hair, she then stretches her arms up over her head with a final yawn. ]

If you'd rather not take a bath, then I'll shower alone.

[ Why not ruin a perfect night's sleep with some morning arguing. He sits at the edge of the bed, giving a brief glance over to where Grell is stretching. Seems she changed out of her outfit without him noticing. He really must have been sleeping well! ]

[ Grell slumps, looking betrayed by the very idea! ]

Nooo... You're especially grumpy this morning. Guess I can't be cute with you before coffee!

I wasn't until you woke me up.

[ But coffee does sound wonderful, and would most certainly cheer him up. Standing from the bed, he finds his pjs to quickly put on and makes to head to the kitchen. ]

I will put on some coffee. Get the bath ready.

Who would be grumpy before waking?

[ But, otherwise, that sounds like a lovely plan, evident when she slips from bed to act without any further complaints.

Grell doesn't bother much with clothing, instead opting for a robe from her closet, once her glasses are on. It affords her time to watch the other dress. ]

Put an extra sugar in mine~?

Considering how little sleep I used to get, I was quite content to make up for it.

[ But he'll end it at that, as well, and makes his way to the kitchen. ]

I'm taking that request literally, in case you were implying something else.

[ With an amused breath, she follows behind him to the doorway, leaning against it as she sees him off. ]

Morning coffee is never a joke, Will! [ A grin. ] Though, you can put some sugar in me after. I certainly wouldn't complain.

[ He just gives her a look over his shoulder that is silently saying, get in that bathroom and get started.

Finally in the kitchen, William begins filling up the pot, taking in the scent of the coffee grounds before measuring enough to yield some pretty strong drinks. ]

[ With a chuckle, the redhead turns on heel to do just that. Making certain that the bath is comfortably warm, she adds in some oils and blended salts to make it especially comfortable and pleasing to the senses.

By the time William has returned, she's just finishing with brushing through her hair thoroughly. She successfully squeezed in a morning shave without him having to see; score! ]

Mmm, I don't know if there's a better smell in the world...

[ He enters the room just in time to hear her comment. Breathing in the perfumed air, he frowns. He can't quite place the fragrance, and the scent of the freshly brewed coffee isn't helping that. ]

What scent is it?

[ Holding her cup out for her, he takes a careful sip of his own. It's quite hot! ]

Coffee.

[ Reaching out to accept it, she turns to lean against the counter, so that she may cradle the cup beneath her nose and inhale deep. ]

Ah, but you must mean the bath... I've added a few things to make it even better. You've never used bath oils or anything of the like, mn?

Ah.

[ Ok, he feels a bit silly for not realizing she was referring to the coffee. ]

No, I haven't. Is there much of a difference. Bathing in oily water doesn't sound particularly pleasant.

[ Brow raised, she gives him the most incredulous look over the rims of her glasses. ]

Darling, it's life changing.

I highly doubt that is the case.

[ Skeptical as ever, but he does approach the tub, running his fingers through the water and testing it's temperature. It seems almost perfect. ]

[ With a wave of an upturned hand toward the bath, she watches him while her lips settle into a lopsided smile. ]

After you, then.

Fine.

[ Handing his cup to Grell, he takes his time unbuttoning his pajama top. It's set atop the counter before he does away with his bottoms, as well. Grell will only get a moment to enjoy the view, though, as he's quickly stepping into the warm bath, sinking down into it with a pleased hum. ]

[ Of course he'd unbutton his shirt all the way down, rather than slip out of it. She chuckles. ]

Flirt♥.

[ Running her teeth over her bottom lip, she unapologetically takes in the sight of him, then following behind him to the tub. She perches herself on its edge, offering his cup for him to retake. ]

Weeell~? [ She coos into her cup, finally taking a sip-- and allowing her shoulders to rise and fall, as her lashes droop over her eyes delightedly. ]

[ He settles himself in well before taking the offered mug. ]

Honestly, aside from the fragrance, I don't see much of a difference.

[ Lids drooping with annoyance, she huffs - and yet, is still happy to hand over his coffee. ]

Give it some time, then!

[ Setting her coffee down by her feet, she shrugs off her robe as she stands, tossing it aside so that she can step in after him. ]

The aroma will relieve stress as the oils and salts soften skin and ease muscle tension.... [ Carefully easing down between his legs, she settles back against him. ] Just-- take it in.

[ Settled down, she pets her hands down his leg, resting her head back against him with a pleased little smile. ]

If that's truly the case, why didn't you tell me about these products when I really needed them?

[ He holds his coffee mug over the tub side, so as to avoid her bumping it and splashing its contents into the tub. Once she's made herself comfortable and still, he risks another sip. Maybe it is the bath water, maybe the coffee, or maybe just the lack of responsibility now, whichever, he can feel himself relaxing. ]

[ Her eyes have drifted closed, and she hasn't reached to retrieve her coffee just yet. She first intends to soak in the moment, so to speak. ]

Mn, I've told you of many things over the years that I suspect you'd immediately turned out, or disregarded as silly.

[ A silent shrug. ]

I did become quite good at ignoring your rambling and nagging.

[ At least for a bit. Then violence checked in to shut her up. ]

[ An amused little scoff, as she tilts her head back to peek up at him. ]

An understatement, really.

[ Okay, now that she can smell the coffee on him so clearly, she craves her own-- but before she reaches for her mug, she affectionately brushes her knuckles along his cheek first! ]
