[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ Grell yelps, cheek pressed to his thigh with a might pout! ]

Honestly, most husbands would find something of the sort to be enticing...

[ A little huff, as she moves a hand to rub at the top of her head - though a smirk quickly settles back onto her lips. She still likes it. ]

Having to work overtime due to your perverted mind is not enticing to me, in the least.

[ Overtime, William's biggest turn-off.

Though, he does fail to negate her use of the title of husband for him. ]

[ IT doesn't go unnoticed, ad the reaper's lips part into a might grin because of it! Her hands wander up and along his hips affectionately. ]

Perhaps it's you that is fortunate not to be my boss any longer.

Honestly, I've thought that on many occasions, already.

[ He watches her hands as they move, then gives her a stern look. ]

Are we going shopping or not. It's certainly isn't going to happen if we continue with this all day.

[ A soft huff shakes her shoulders, though she merely quirks a brow at him. ]

Tired of me already? [ She rolls over to push the blankets aside, sitting herself up and swing her legs over the side of the bed. Excepts she's still a bit too drowsy to get up just yet-- and so, she flops onto her side with a harrumph. ]

[ While he was referring to sex, he certainly could tolerate more nap time. That's something he needs to catch up on, as well. Thus, he stays put despite his own complaint. ]

Do you realise how many times we've slept together already?

[ Grell stays silent for a moment, before peeking over her shoulder. ]

It all blends together, really.

Then you should be satisfied for a long while.

[ As if he doesn't know they'll be right back at it before the night's through. ]

It isn't a matter of whether you've satisfied me - as you surely have - but, rather, I...

[ She pushes herself back up with a sigh. ]

What can I say, I'm a glutton for your affections.

I'm spoiling you then.

[ Assuming she'll need more time to get ready than he will, he makes to nestle back down for a bit longer. ]

[ Hands on her hips, the redhead turns to give him a look... despite the fact that she's still half-hard from their dream escapades. It's the urgency for a sassy response that's the important thing here! ]

Now, that is an idea that we can revisit in another century - but, until then, I would consider it making up for lost time!

We'll see. Now, go get ready.

[ Curled up comfortably on his side, William pulls the blanket up to his chin. The position allows him to have a nice view of Grell as she gets ready. ]

[ With a puff, she sets about doing just that-- and catches a glimpse of her reflection, on the way to the closet. With a double-take, she digs her hands into her hair, slumping with a long groan. ]

This is going to take some work.

[death_glare]

What are you complaining about? I just washed it for you.

[ Only William could sound grumpy while bundled up in blankets. ]

What, are you not seeing this?

[ Plopping down into the chair before her vanity, she immediately reaches for the hair products! ]

I am and it looks perfectly fine.

[ For just a beat, she pauses to glance at him endearingly. ]

I see you're learning to humour me.

[ She's still applying that hair oil!! Though perhaps not as feverishly. ]

[death_glare]

That would imply that I'm lying.

[ With a sigh, he turns his face into the pillow, slightly. ]

[ That sigh, coupled with its gesture, leads her to think that she's upset him in some way. Lowering her arms, she tilts her head. ]

Now, I know better than to accuse you of that. What is it?

[death_glare]

[ He lifts his head only enough to speak. ]

Nothing. I shouldn't complain. The longer you take the more I can nap.

[ Brows furrowing, her shoulders ease with a lopsided grin. ]

Fine, fine. I'll make it-- well, quicker than usual.

[ And she holds to it, surprisingly, sticking only to the essentials. Though she isn't satisfied with her look, per se, she no longer feels like a troll, and that's where it's going to stay currently. ]

Alright, my love! [ She declares, pouncing onto the bed and landing on her knees. ] Your turn~♥

[ He's barely drifted off again when the shaking bed wakes him with a jolt. He blinks a few times before rolling to his back to give a long yawn and stretch of his arms. ]

How many hours has it been.

[ Teasing, but he wouldn't be surprised if it was true. ]

Half, thank you! [ She gives the blankets a good tug, and if she's successful, she'll have a VERY satisfied smile at the result, teeth pressing into her lower lips and brows quirking teasingly. ]

Now, I have to warn you, I get cranky when I'm hungry, so you maaay want to hurry. Unless you like me to scold you now~

[ Pushing himself up to his elbows, he gives her a classic William look. ]

I have plenty of experience dealing with your crankiness.

[ Still, that doesn't mean he wants to deal with it. So, he's shifting his legs over the bed's edge to get up. Shower having been taken care of, already, he heads to his travel bag to fish out whatever clean clothing he has left. The usual mundane button up shirt and dress slacks. Gosh, he really does need this shopping trip. ]

[ Even if she is a little disappointed that he didn't take her up on the offer, she's still plopping onto a hop with an amused chuckle. ]

We've missed breakfast, so what's the second best thing you can think of?

[ Hopping back up, she's returning to her vanity for the final touches. Some lipgloss, and straightening her bowtie, for example. ]
