[ What began as a heated conversation seemed to earn the curiosity of the lobby's dawdlers and passer-bys-- until it became downright explosive. The boisterous tone of voice was all too recognisable, for everyone there had found themselves subjected to Grell's charades at least once, and for most, that was one time too many. The smartest of them would turn on heel and leave the direction they came.
Unfortunately, those that were in the immediate vicinity wouldn't have such privilege. A foolish, albeit good-hearted young woman had just stepped between Grell and the target of her aggression, in hopes of diffusing the situation. Instead, the enraged redhead snatched the new receptionist by the hair. ]
Oh, is this what it's all about, then! This wagtail bitch?!
[ Immediately, several reapers jump in to take Grell's arms and detach her. While they are successful, it only earns a face-splitting grin from her - for, now, she has a better distraction. Flipping one man over her shoulder, she gives him a splitting kick before turning on the rest of them. It's nothing short of a brawl. ]

[ He holds his own glass out, silently asking her for a refill, as well. ]
no subject
I thought as much, darling. I-- do appreciate it. Really.
[ There is a slightly uncomfortable air about her while admitting as much. It seems that she only has issue with expression when it becomes contradictory to her facade. ]
no subject
Are you alright? Or have you had too much wine, already?
[ She was already drinking when he came over, after all. ]
no subject
Darling, there is no such thing.
[ As though to prove her point, she empties the remainder of the bottle into her glass, even though it leaves it slightly too full. ]
no subject
Perhaps I should write you out sick now and spare myself the trouble in the morning.
no subject
God, could you, though? Thank you!
no subject
[ He's certain she had to have known that, despite his voice not usually capable to conveying that emotion. Still, better to clarify with her! ]
Besides, I believe I'm more entitled to a sick day than yourself.
no subject
What if we both took a impromptu holiday?
no subject
[ But this wine is telling him it might be a good idea. ]
no subject
[ A sip. ]
But, to me, that seems to be a future problem.
no subject
[ Perhaps he'll just admit that whether he's there or not, it's going to be a shit day at work. Always. Especially now when he has to see his ex when visiting the Corrections Department. Which is nearly every day. ]
Fine. A day off it is, then.
no subject
Yes~♥! Trust me, you won't regret it! This will be very good for you.
no subject
Stop that. Unless you want your couch stained red.
[ He pauses at his own words. Yes, he's definitely had a lot of wine, as he's already forgotten that nearly everything in this flat is red! ]
no subject
I absolutely will not, until we've stained the entire town red! We're going to have a grand time.
no subject
Doing what, exactly?
[ He would spend a good portion of the day in bed, except that he's not in his own home. ]
no subject
We're going to have a day behaving as two young single folk, making properly terrible decisions.
[ Sitting back, she nods decidedly. ]
You'll be getting it all out of your system with proper supervision!
no subject
[ With a huff at his own comment, he takes another swig. ]
The idea of you providing supervision over me is almost laughable.
[ It's true, he almost seems like he might chuckle at the thought. ]
no subject
You'll have me to enable you, then!
[ plopping back with a huff of her own, she's resisting a grin, seeing him in better spirits like that. ]
After being with someone so long, you'll be tempted to do many things. Ought to get them out of the way, you know. Move on faster.
no subject
What sorts of things. You're being rather vague.
no subject
You tell me. What are your-- [ Glass held to her chest, she leans in close, peering up at him from beneath heavy black lashes, voice playfully husky. ] ~darkest desires~?
no subject
[ Stated almost immediately. Just the thought of it has his fuzzy, tipsy mind almost grinning. ]
no subject
Surely, you must mean with a lover.
no subject
[ He ponders his drink a moment before continuing. ]
However, I can't deny the appeal of that option.
no subject
I suppose there is some hope for you, then.
no subject
What are some of yours, then. I'm certain they outshine my desires. Perhaps you can enlighten me on where I'm lacking.
