I'm certain that's what Professor Snape intended, but Hagrid won't make us stay. We probably shouldn't return to the castle for awhile yet, though.
[ It doesn't take him long to refill each of the main feeders for the owls. Then he tucks Gregory back into his own cage. Discarding his gloves and apron next to the door, he makes to leave, assuming Grell will follow. ]
[ Although she huffs, it's difficult to be too angry, at this rate! She scurries over to grab another set of gloves and haphazardly gathers the remainder of the feathers left on the floor, dumping them into the bun with a triumphant croon!
--And then catches sight of Will on his way out! ]
Will, wait!
[ Tossing the tools into their rightfull place (somewhat), she hurries to follow, indeed! ]
[ He slows down only slightly as he descends the high hill that the owlry is perched on, instead, looking out over the castle grounds wondering what they can spend their time doing before dinner is served in the great hall. ]
Now what?
[ He would have just stayed up in the owlry, but the day has been pleasent between them. Hopefully he isn't pushing his luck with allowing his time with her to continue. ]
[ Stretching out her arms to fold behind her head, Grell perches herself up on her tiptoes to look over the expanse of the grounds before them. She hums at the sight of the sunset. ]
I suppose we could sneak over to Hogsmeade, though... This isn't the ideal attire to be going out, honestly. I look horrid.
[ He thinks for a moment, then starts to head across the castle lawn towards the Quidditch pitch. Though there may have been practice here earlier, it's certain to be deserted this late in the evening.
He pauses, right where the corridor to the locker rooms is. ]
You can wash out your here if you want. Otherwise I am just going to sit up in the bleachers for awhile.
[ Curious to know what he has in mind, she follows behind with an inquisitive hum. Tilting her head at him when they arrive at the lockers, she breathes an exclamation of understanding, once he mentions the showers. ]
I suppose this will do! Did you not wish to wash up, as well?
Heading for her locker, she'll open it up-- she always keeps extra soaps on hand here, as Quidditch matches can get quite messy sometimes! For her, anyway. ]
[ His brow furrows and he's about to say no when he looks at his hands. There are tiny feather bits he didn't notice until now, most likely getting there from picking them out of Grell's hair. It makes him think of something else he may not have noticed, being around the owls so often. ]
[ Grell begins moving some of her layers to give a good shake, first! Draping them over the door of her locker, she at least makes an effort to grab for a towel before removing her slacks! ]
[ This would be a lot more awkward if their teams hadn't shared a locker room countless times before. Even so, he takes one of Grell's soap bottles and makes his way towards one of the shower stalls before removing his own clothes. ]
[ With a gentle tick of the tongue, she'll just have to follow after him. She might have used the shower at the opposite end to avoid temptation, but so much for that! Realistically, she would've ended up sneaking a peek, either way, but the thought counts. ]
[ William heaves a sigh and finally removes the remainder of his clothes, getting under one of the neighboring shower heads and wetting himself down. ]
[ Being much more picky about the temperature, especially with it being much more chilly during the evenings, Grell is waiting just a bit longer-- and, yep, that afford her a chance to peep. It may just be a view of William's flat butt, but even that little flaw of his is endearing somehow, making a smile pluck at her lips. ]
[ He's positive she's sneaking a peek, which is why he's keeping his back to her. But he'll squeeze some of the floral scented lotion into his hands and try it out. It's not a scent he would have picked for himself, but it's better than bird. ]
[ Even with William being stingy, she can still appreciate the muscle definition of his arms and back alone. His training has truly done him well.
Once the water is finally to her liking she loses the towel, placing it up on the provided hook. First, she let's it wash over her arms, before turning to carefully wet her hair while avoiding her makeup!!
William can't see very well at all without his glasses, so it isn't so though she has much to worry about, herself. ]
[ Also, William has some decency and doesn't go peeping! Instead he focuses on himself, scrubbing and rinsing until he feels fresh and clean. It's a quick shower, like most men tend to take, and he's shutting off the water before Grell's even managed to get her hair cleaned out. ]
[ Not sensing his eyes wandering once, she hums with some amusement! So he's a gentleman, after all! ]
Done already? Don't go leaving me alone in here, okay♥?
[ It's true, she's only just massaged the conditioner into her ends! Just to be on the safe side, she will hastily rinse it so she can wash down her body. ]
[ He doesn't reply, but when she's finally done, he'll be sitting in the dressing area, lacing up his shoes, his towel still draped over his damp hair. ]

Sweep up this new mess you've made and I will refill the bird feeders. After that I think they will let us go.
no subject
Really? Oh, thank goodness.
[ She clasps her hands together! ]
I thought we'd be here all day.

I don't smell, do I?
no subject
Well, you do smell a bit like bird, if I'm to be honest.

Fine. Lend me some of your soap. All I have is unscented.

[ Pointedly, she sets the others mentioned beside the bottle he took. ]
Honestly, that hair and body soap boys use is barbaric.

Try them. You'll see the difference, trust me.
