[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

I'm afraid you'll have to make me.

[ Although she will briefly stop - despite saying so - so that she can down a drink of her wine before William has the chance to help himself to the rest of it. ]

[ He downs the rest of, what is now his wine, then sets the glass aside once more. ]

I've just thought of a short term goal for myself.

[ He muses before removing his arm from around her and shifting down to curl up under the thick blankets. ]

Some well deserved sleep.

[ Head lulling into a cant, she watches him with further incredulity! ]

Are you really tired?

[ With a sigh, she knocks back the remainder of her liquor, so that she can join him-- at least for a moment. She still has to clean wiggle out of that harness and clean herself up. ]

Yes. I have decades of insomnia and restlessness to make up for.

[ He should probably clean up a bit, too, but now he's comfortable! ]

[ Grell simultaneously shakes her head whilst nuzzling down against his shoulder to get comfortable, arms wrapping around his middle and leg slinging over one of his. ]

Alright, you. We'll save our talk for another time.

[ It really isn't a good idea for her to get so comfortable, either. She's only torturing herself, really. ]

[ He quiet for a bit, letting Grell settle in and enjoying the warmth of her body against his. ]

I've enjoyed getting to know more about you.

[ Briefly, her breath stills. Yet again, he catches her by surprise with a tender sentiment... It's fortunate that her heart isn't capable of giving out on her, with all she's been putting it through! ]

Likewise, my love.

[ She near whispers between them, cupping his opposite cheek so that she may take his lips in a brief and endeared kiss. ]

I'm so fortunate♥.

[ There's only a hum of acknowledgement as he kisses her back. Not wanting to show yet another example of his self depreciation, he keeps his thoughts to himself. Instead, he settles her head back down against his shoulder. ]

Are we opting for a bath in the morning?

[ Ah, that feels wonderful, his hand atop her head, the warmth of his skin, his smell... She immediately relaxes with a blissful sigh. ]

Mm... That sounds divine... And we won't have the rush, this time.

I can cook us a nice breakfast afterwards.

[ It actually sounds like the start to a pleasant day. He may even admit he's looking forward to it! ]

[ Giving him a little squeeze, she nearly purrs at the idea. ]

Mn, I would ask what you have in mind, but I almost like the idea of the surprise~

It won't be anything extravagant, so don't get your hopes up.

[ His hand idly rubs her shoulder, almost instinctively, at this point. ]

As one who cannot cook in the slightest, my standards may be a bit different than yours...

[ After work, a good meal, two romps, and about a bottle's work of wine, the day's beginning to catch up to her quickly, now that they've both wound down and she's wrapped in his comfort. Her speech becomes to become a bit sluggish! ]

It's all extravagant.

Good to know I haven't shown myself to be a disappointment.

[ It's a comforting thought and he holds on to it while he slowly closes his eyes. It's certainly been a good day. ]

You could never be a disappointment in my eyes, my darling. [ Her words drawl into a yawn, as she nuzzles herself under his chin. ]

[ There's a short sigh of relief before he finds himself drifting off. It's a wonderfully good night's rest. No tossing and turning. No suddenly awaking in a cold sweat. No dependency on sleeping pills. Instead it's the soft light of morning peeking through the window and slowly rousing him. He hums contently, not willing to get up just yet. ]

[ Grell, at some point during the night, had apparently stirred awake - most likely due to the fact that she had attempted to sleep in a harness - and snuck away to undress, tidy up, and remove her makeup. Having crawled back into bed with him, she's contently nestled beside him... although, she has an arm ungracefully slung over her face to block out the morning light! ]

Perhaps and hour longer.

[ He mutters, still half asleep. ]

[ His voice gets the redhead to stir, turning to sling that arm over him, instead. Licking over her lips with a smack, she heaves a sleepy sigh. ]

Mn... You're awake?

[ She's been drifting in and out all morning, waiting for him, but stubbornly not wanting to leave the bed without him!! ]

[death_glare]

No.

[ A rare lie! But he's not ready to get up just yet either. He eases Grell off of him with a lazy push, rolling over to his side before pulling her back up against him. ]

[ It only has Grell chuckling lazily-- cut short when he pushes her off! She opens her eyes to pointedly pout his way, but immediately eases against him with a sigh once realising what's been done. ]

Alright, then... Me, neither, I suppose.

[ Wiggling to allow him the ability to wrap around her just right, she rests her hands over his. ]

[ Now at eye level to one another, William's able to access her neck with just the slightest tilt of his head. His nose and lips lightly graze across it as he settles in for another nap of sorts. ]

[ Such earns a pleasured shudder from her-- and after a few moments of inactivity where he's settled, it finally registers that he really does just intend to sleep.

With a good natured huff, she raises a hand to rest over the back of his neck, cradling him there. ]

[ She may have to wake him, eventually. He's gotten so comfortable that he's even begun snoring! ]

[ Yeah, snoring in her ear isn't going to fly. Pulling a pained sort of expression, she struggles to shift to that she may gently take his face by his cheeks, gently raising his head to peck at his lips. Eases him back onto the pillow, to kiss at him until he wakes! ]
