Forgiven

[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

William must be especially livid, they thought, and no one wished to be the foreman in his line of fire. That is to say, their morning went from entirely lax with no management to admonish them, to tiptoeing around landmines. Well, one-- being the door to his office.

Except for Grell, of course. As soon as she'd received word that he was back, she very nearly dashed to greet him! No one bothered to warn her, except for Ronald; a very noble effort, which did manage to still her - for a moment. A moment, in which she made a mental note of how peculiar that behaviour was for dear Will, and merely made her more determined to step past! ]

Wiiiiiilll~, my morning had been so dreary without you!!

[ His door teeters to swing closed behind her, as she extends her arms as though to embrace him on the spot! ]
