[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

Thankfully, I got them to change their minds on your pay cut.

[ He shifts her legs off him and pulls the covers up over them both. Flipping to his side, he takes up the position they were in before he'd leaned in and kissed her earlier. ]

[ Settling down beside him, she's sighing contently as she presses herself close, one hand tucked beneath her cheek, and the other slung over William's waist. ]

Mn, as thanks, I'll be certain to dedicate a portion of my next paycheck to just that~

Perhaps we can go shopping for it together.

[ His own hand settles on her hip, purposefully avoiding where her wound is. ]

[ With a gasp, Grell looks up to him, eyes widened with excitement! ]

Really, Will? I'd love that!

Though, a surprise may be nice, as well.

[ He nods at her question, though, interested in both. ]

[ A brow raises thoughtfully as she hums. ]

Well, you'll just have to show me the sort of things you like, and I can take it from there♥.

Very well, then.

[ His hand slides down to rest at her upper thigh, content to have it sit there while they sleep. ]

This escalated far quicker than I'd planned. Though, I suppose once I kissed you, that was inevitable.

[ Grell hums happily while he touches her in such a way - intimate, but perhaps loving, instead of lust-driven. She shifts to remove her glasses, reaching over to place them on a pillow at the far side of the bed. ]

We've had much lost time to make up for. [ She says fondly, laying her hand on his cheek as she settles once more. ] Shouldn't be entirely surprising, I suppose... but it still very much is.

Certainly a new experience.

[ Considering how different Grell is from anyone he's ever been with.

No longer needing glasses, he's able to watch Grell with no issue as she settles in. ]

[ She idly draws her fingertips along the contour of his jaw, and under the definition of his lower lip. ]

Is that a good thing?

I don't have any complaints, as of yet.

[ He allows her to caress his face, expression calm and content. ]

[ With a chuckle, she leans in to place a soft kiss upon those lips. ]

Well, thank goodness for that.

[death_glare]

I'm certain you'll irritate me soon enough.

[ Though, for now, his eyes are drifting shut. His hand slips around to her back as he draws her closer. ]

[ Crooning happily, she wiggles nearer to get most comfortable against him. She rests her forehead to his cheek, fingers idly tracing along his spine, now, instead. ]

Mn, lovers' quarrels are to be expected. They'll be but a reminder of just that; how much we love one another~♥

A bit backwards, you would think.

[ Probably the closest she'll get him to agree to loving her back, for now at least. ]

[ From what she's been told this evening, she believes that he must... Though, of course, hearing it will be a massive milestone for her. A first, even. ]

It might seem that way, at first... It's what comes after that matters.

I assume you're referring to make up sex.

[ Judging by how rough their first time was, make up sex between them promises to be even more intense! ]

[ A breathy laugh slips past her lips! ]

I meant making up, in general. Proving how strong our connection is.

[ A beat. ]

But that certainly is a bonus.

In that case, we've been doing so since the beginning.

[ He opens his eyes once more, nothing but red fringe in his view. He pats the hairs down with little success. ]

Oh, you're just now seeing that, mm?

[ Okay, she might be feeling a little sleepy, now, having him so close. Body warmth, steady breathing, his smell beneath the relaxing fragrance of that body wash... ]

Acknowledging it, more so.

[ Giving up on her hair, he lets his muscles relax, fully settling into the soft pillows. It's certainly nice to no longer feel lonely. ]

Oh. Oh, Will.

[ Arm wrapping tighter around his body, her opposit hand rests at his chest. ]

That's-- really good to hear.

[ A wistful, vaguely sleepy sigh drawls into another croon. ]

[ He hums his reply, as he can feel himself drifting off.
The exhaustion of the weekend combined with the rigorous activities of the evening has him out in no time. ]

[ Grell doesn't take long to follow after him, falling into blissful slumber once more-- and she stays that way, until something stirs her.

A very noisy something. A noise that she positively loathes, and never once missed since she bailed; her alarm.

With a muffled groan, she's already attempted to drown it out by burying herself into William's chest, but that doesn't seem to work. So, she rolls onto him, pushing him onto his back and laying on top of his chest, so that she may reach out and smack it into silence!!

And then, she collapses onto him with another, more whiny groan this time! ]

[ If an alarm was a horrible way to wake up for her, imagine an alarm plus a person climbing all over you. William hadn't been subjected to waking up at a specific hour for some time now, either. So he's rather displeased with having to do so, even if he technically doesn't have to work today.

With his own groan, he pushes Grell off of him so he can sit up. ]
