[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ He focuses on the knot, kneading it with his thumbs in tight circular motions. ]

I will be speaking with them about the flat. And to find out where my things have disappeared to. We may have to go shopping for clothing sooner than I'd hoped. If only so I can get through more than three days without doing laundry.

[ Her breath shakes just so-- that fine line between pain and pleasure, but in a different sense. Still makes her want to fuck him senseless, though. Or vice versa. ]

[ As the muscles of her shoulder loosen, William spoons some more water up, rinsing the bubbles from her skin. Then he's pulling her back against him, hands drifting to her chest to continue washing. ]

I will stay through your lunch break, at least. You'll need to leave me your key to let myself back in afterwards.

[ Grell relaxes into him, head resting back onto his shoulder. ]

Mn, deal. Eating lunch together would undoubtedly keep me in better spirits.

[ She raises an arm, reaching back to rub along his neck, and up into his hair, eyes drifting closed. ]

Enough to keep me to snapping a mop over someone's head, at least.

I better not hear of you acting like that.

[ He sounds serious, but certainly not as stern and cold as usual. Her massaging his scalp probably has something to do with that. ]

I don't want to have to babysit you every day.

[ Something between endeared and annoyed, she gently rakes her nails along the base of his skull. ]

While you're welcome to visit me anytime, I won't have you using me as an excuse to work. You addict.

I'm not addicted to work.

[ He sounds way too defensive. ]

If you hadn't noticed, I looked forward to clocking out each day. The lot of you made that exceptionally difficult to achieve.

[ Craning her neck but just a bit more, she cups his cheek, so that she may press a kiss to his other. ]

Not that your serious nature is a bad thing, mind.

[ Still, he's not to keen on hearing he was focusing entirely on work all the time. He knows he was, but it seems the thing that got him into a lot of this mess was what he fell back on to try and forget it all. ]

Just... [ He pauses as she kisses his cheek. ] Tell me if I'm getting to distant. Sometimes I feel as though I can't tell.

[ Grell peers up at him for a moment, lips softening into a fond smile. ]

Oh, darling, I won't let you stray far. Trust me.

Yes, I doubt you'll keep any disappointment in me to yourself.

[ That insecurity dealt with, he returns to massaging her chest. His palms brush over her nipples almost as if he's fondling absent breasts. ]

[ Grell rolls her eyes with a snerk. ]

Well, yes, I suppose I am rather forthright...

[ Oh, but that thought doesn't last long. Not only does the attention to those erogenous points make her breath flutter, the particular attention he gives them is wonderfully indulgent. She licks over her lips with a heady sigh, hand curling into William's short locks. ]

[ Not at all surprised with her approval of his touches, he continues, rubbing at first, then pinching each one firmly. Meanwhile, he grunts faintly at light tugging of his hair. It's odd how he'd never wanted it mussed, yet now he seems to find it rather enjoyable. ]

[ With a sharp breath, her muscles flutter and tense, back arching up into his caresses. ]

Nn-- you wonderful tease...

[ Her opposite hand raises to join it, nails dragging over his scalp. ]

I could easily say the same of you.

[ He leans into the touch of her other hand, enjoying the feeling of her painted nails over his scalp. There's a twist to one nipple, then the other as he rolls them between his fingers. Then he releases them, returning to cupping over the area, massaging in slow circles. ]

[ William leaning into her touch makes the redhead swoon just so, her croon making that quite evident-- though it only last so long, with how his fingers are manipulating her. Her breath carries a moan, thumbs working down his neck. ]

Well, then, be grateful I don't have a better hold on you... Mm♥...

[ With a final tug at each nipple, William retracts his arms, instead pushing her to sit up straight again. He reaches for the bottle Grell had handed him prior before realizing that was body wash and not shampoo. Best to ask and avoid her shrieking that he's used the wrong product on her hair! ]

Which of these do you use on your hair?

[ Good call, William. Good call.

After taking a moment to come to her senses, she reaches for one of the more elaborate bottles, advertising something along the lines of offering superior strength and shine. It also smells warm and sweet, which is a bonus. ]

This. [ Grell hands it to him, then gesturing to another that looks similar; its conditioner. ] And then, this.

[ Now able to read the label without glasses, he raises an eyebrow at the claims the product boasts. Then shaking his head skeptically, he sets about wetting her hair. The shampoo is added and he runs his fingers through her hair to evenly disperse it. ]

What time are you do in? Did you even bother to look?

[ He'll find that the attention paid to her scalp makes her melt immediately. Tugs, pets, she loves it all.

Wrapping her arms about her knees, she nearly purrs-- and it takes her a long moment before she responds. ]

--Mn? ... ah... Uhm. Same as yesterday, wasn't it...?

[ She didn't look. ]

As I thought, you didn't check.

[ Though same time as usual is a fair guess. Especially since she's still being trained. Even though he's well aware she likes it, he gives her a reprimand in the form of a hard tug to her hair. ]

[ A gasping moan escapes her, hands finding their way to grip at William's thighs. ]

A-aah, my mistake♥.

[ With the pain subsiding, she drags her teeth over her bottom lip, fingers kneading at his legs. ]

Do not do it again. You can't risk being late.

[ There's another tug before he returns to lathering the ends of her hair. Once he's satisfied with his job he gives her a light push, his way of indicating she should lean forward to rinse the soap out. ]

[ Shivering against him, she uses her grip on his thighs to roll her hips back just so. She's been behaving too well, a bit of retaliation ought to even things out. ]

For you, I suppose I'll be a good girl.

[ Chuckling at the push he gives her, of all things, she instead scoots forward, bending back to dunk her hair into the water-- and on her way up, kisses his chin. ]

You could have done that decades ago and saved us both numerous headaches.

[ He catches her head as she lifts it, give her a kiss on the lips, instead. Then he's reaching for the conditioner bottle and filling his cupped hand with the pink soap. ]

I can't imagine how much of this you must have gone through when your hair was long.
