[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ She shoots him a look. albeit good-natured. ]

Well, I can say that I'm a professional with that sort of thing, now. [ Seeing a stall that displays some of the items they need, she grasps at the cuff of William's sleeve to lead him to it. ] It will give me a chance to play housewife, in any case♥.

[ William does a bit of an eye roll and shakes his head as he follows her towards the vendor's booth. ]

We are not married. [ Not that stating such is gonna stop her from fantasizing the idea. ] You haven't been gossiping around about us, have you?

[ Grell points out the items she'd like, ignoring that first comment entirely! Once she has it all bagged and paid for, she pushes it into William's arms. ]

I told you, I haven't talked to anyone. Silly man. Don't tell me you're suddenly embarrassed.

I'm not embarrassed. It's just none of their business.

[ His hand almost moves to adjust his frames before he catches himself, instead focusing on the bag he suddenly finds in his arms. ]

[ It's a very daring move, but she cups a hand to his cheek, leaning in to peck his lips. ]

You're the one that told our superiors.

[ There's no reciprocation on that kiss. He's too busy grumping. ]

That was strictly so we could be assigned to a larger flat.

[ Hey, he could have shoved her away, or complained about the public display, so she's okay with that. In fact, it might be a little cute. ]

You could've told them that it wasn't any of their business. They might've assumed I needed ongoing supervision, or something like that, even if it is a bit obvious. [ Chuckling, she holds onto his elbow to move them on. ]

Asking for a two bedroom flat with one king size bed is more than a bit obvious.

[ He holds back just to get his argument out, but ultimately follows her along. ]

[ Grell can't help but laugh. ]

Alright, I'll give you that.

[ Have a sigh to combat that laugh. ]

Honestly, I think they were relieved to hear so. They still seemed to think I might decide to return to Heaven, at some point.

[ That thought causes her smile to fade entirely, replaced by a small frown. She huffs. ]

They should hope not, for it that's what they think, there really wouldn't be anything holding me back. Bastards.

Calm yourself, I'm not going to leave. Not without bringing you along.

[ There's a short exhale through his nose, almost as if he laughed at the absurdity of Grell ascending to Heaven. If only the slightest. ]

[ Grell's lips pucker into a pout somewhat, but after glancing at William, the corner of her lips pluck into a smile once more. ]

That was almost sweet.

It's simply the truth.

[ There's a short shove with his elbow. ]

Where is this shop, anyway?

[ There it is-- her heart is fluttering again! At least the jab - and the yelp that ensues from it - is enough to insert some 'normalcy' into the situation and keep her on track. ]

We're here, silly. [ Rounding the corner to the next street, she gestures to the open market-- although the vendors are much more sparse this late in the evening. Looping an arm into his elbow, she seems more excited, now that their grocery trip has begun, and thus, is nearer to ending.

Once their bag has been filled and list depleted, they teleport back home. Grell stands on toe to reach into the bag and grab what she can, to start putting away the perishables. ]

So, what shall we make tonight~?

Beef Wellington.

[ As he states it, his hand rests atop hers, stopping her from moving the steak to the ice box. ]

It will take a bit of time but it should be quite good once finished.

[ With a purring hum, she pauses indeed, instead leaning in close. ]

Mn, fancy~♥

[ And she briefly kisses him, lingering for just a moment longer. ]

We've got a few things to satiate our appetites, in the meanwhile...

Go unpack our other purchases. I will get this in the oven. Then we will have a bit of time to relax.

[ There's quite a bit of prep work to do. And William is left searching the kitchen for various tools. But eventually he's at the point of sliding the pastry wrapped steaks in the oven. ]

[ With a fleeting nuzzle, she slips away to do just that, placing the plethora of goodies they acquired at the toy store. When she returns, she's removed her coat, leaving only the racy little number she's been hiding beneath it - and has definitely touched up on her makeup and perfume. ]

My word, that looks divine.

[ And she's holding the bottles of alcohol, placing them upon the counter as she goes about getting them some wine glasses and locating the cork screw. ]

[ Turning from the stove William watches Grell as she readies the wine. It's the first she's shown him this full garment and he likes what he sees. ]

Honestly, I could say the same of you.

Oh-- [ She pauses to glance over her shoulder at him with a quirk of her brows. ] Please do.

[ Playfully, she waggles her harness-clad ass! ]

[ He approaches, sliding an arm around her waist to forcefully pull him to his chest. ]

You look astoundingly sexy this evening. It will be a shame to take this off of you.

[ His free hand gives her ass a firm squeeze. ]

[ With a gleeful laugh, her arms raise to drape over William's shoulders, resting comfortably against his chest. Her eyes scan the detail of his face with absolute adoration-- and a tinge of lust, of course, tongue hooked over her grinning teeth. ]


Don't you worry, we'll see to it that you've thoroughly savoured its pleasures, and I'm certain you'll be ready to see it done away with by then.

[ There's a hum of thought as his hands explore the intricacies of the harness. ]
