[ She leans in closer, peering over his glasses to meet his gaze. ]

Well, what's it going to do now, mn? Kill you?

[ He holds the door open for her as they enter the shop. ]

If I've survived you, so to speak, then I don't see how anything as simplistic as liquor or tobacco could ever do such a thing.

[ Grell cups a hand to one of her rosy cheeks. Although a small and simple gesture, it's not one that she would've expected of him... ever! Is he seeing her more as a lady, or simply a partner? She'll take either, really, no complaints! ]

You flatter me, really. [ She giggles as she passes, peering about the shop. She doesn't frequent the sort often, preferring wine and all. ]

Of course you would find that flattering.

[ With a sigh, he shakes his head, but follows her into the store without hesitation. He's quite familiar with the shop, as he immediately heads towards the variety of gins. ]

Mm-hm~♥

[ She turns on heel to follow behind, hands sliding into her pockets. ]

Do you have a preference for any of these? Or do you base it on budget?

[ Looking over each of the bottles lining the shelves, William finally grabs a specific one. He turns the bottle over in his hands, reading the price tag on the container. ]

Depends. Though this brand is fairly good for its price.

[ Pleased with the decision, he turns to her. ]

They have quite a large selection of wine and cider, as well. Choose something.

[ Grell peer over his shoulder, curiously peeking at its label. She'll make a mental note of it for the future!

When prompted to pick something out for herself, she bites at her lower lip with a grin, heading off to explore for the wine selection. Upon finding it, she leans in to browse the bottles, fingers trailing the shelves idly-- and upon spotting one, she snickers before reaching to grab one. ]

Ah, this one... It's a guilty pleasure, I'd say! [ Standing upright, she looks at it with a lopsided grin. ] Bottom shelf, overly sweet, fantastic choice when awaiting payday. I wouldn't order it in public, per say, but I get that craving for it every now and then~

[ The description of 'overly sweet' gets enough of William's attention that he's taking the bottle from her hands to inspect it. ]

Get another bottle. I have the feeling we'll run this one dry fairly quickly.

[ With a laugh, she does just that. ]

Now, let's get your smokes♥.

[ With a nod, William approaches the counter. The bottles are pushed towards the clerk and he indicates what package he'd like from the choices displayed in the case. Menthols seem to be his choice for the evening. ]

[ Grell follows close behind to add hers to them, folding her arms along the counter as she waits. As they leaves, she curiously picks up William's carton from the bag, holding them to her nose to smell-- and, indeed, confirms that she's picking up a minty scent. ]

These smell delicious.

[ But back into the bag they go, and off into hammerspace! ]

I don't suppose you'd made a list, darling?

Of clothing articles? I'm not sure it would have done us much good. You have a vast knowledge of fashion, unlike myself.

[ He frowns. Not so much at her question, but that she'd whisked the goods off before he'd gotten a chance to pull one of those cigarettes out to enjoy. ]

[ To that look, she leans over to kiss his cheek! ]

You'll find them more satisfying later, at home, won't you~♥?

[ And she's just purring at the thought of such flattery! He thinks she has a vast knowledge of fashion-- which, of course she does, but it's different when HE thinks so! ]

A list for the market, silly.

I suppose so.

[ Doesn't mean he's not peeved he has to wait. ]

But, yes. At least in terms of things I'd like, or believe we should keep a regular supply of.

[ An intrigued hum! ]

So, what does William like to keep at home, then?

[ A moment later, a short but neatly written list appears in his hand. He holds it out for her to take and inspect. ]

Obviously, I was unsure of what you'd like to have.

[ Of course he'd had one written. She knew it. With a wholly amused grin, she accepts the paper to look over. ]

Well, I typically survive off of raw foods and premade meals, so. Perhaps some preserves, smoked salmon... That sort of thing.

[ He'll snatch the list back and, producing a pen, make these new additions. Along with her suggestions, he jots a few ingredients for some meals he may cook up for them. ]

I do not mind cooking, on occasion.

[ At the extra additions, she curiously peeks over-- and her fingertips touch to her lips with girlish glee. ]

I hardly think you'll be up to cook me breakfast, though, my love. Not with your airtight schedule of sleeping in!

You will just have to fend for yourself in the mornings.

[ Yes, he is going to adhere to that schedule as closely as possible. ]

Still... [ Nibbling at her lower lip, she brushes her shoulder to his, cheeks rosy. ] Cooking for me at all-- it's really the sweetest♥!

I'll expect you to return the favor by cleaning up the kitchen afterwards.

[ She shoots him a look. albeit good-natured. ]

Well, I can say that I'm a professional with that sort of thing, now. [ Seeing a stall that displays some of the items they need, she grasps at the cuff of William's sleeve to lead him to it. ] It will give me a chance to play housewife, in any case♥.

[ William does a bit of an eye roll and shakes his head as he follows her towards the vendor's booth. ]

We are not married. [ Not that stating such is gonna stop her from fantasizing the idea. ] You haven't been gossiping around about us, have you?

[ Grell points out the items she'd like, ignoring that first comment entirely! Once she has it all bagged and paid for, she pushes it into William's arms. ]

I told you, I haven't talked to anyone. Silly man. Don't tell me you're suddenly embarrassed.
