[ Graduating from the reaper academy was nothing to brag about. Sure you gained some skills and were granted permission to customize your glasses and scythe, but beyond that, all that was in the newly trained reapers' future was tedious, unavoidable work encased within long nights of depression and regret. Unlike mortal graduations that were followed by celebration, reapers were informed of how they came to be, what was expected of them, should they wish to redeem themselves, and then shown their personal cinematic records. Forced to relive the pain of their mortal lives. To say it's a traumatic experience is a vast understatement.

William stands alone in his newly assigned, permanent flat. It's barely furnished, with just the essentials, no life or personality to be seen. All that's playing through his mind is his record. A horrific thing to rewatch, certainly, but somehow it was made more painful by a fear that had been newly established. He's suddenly feeling sick from the thoughts and has to exit the apartment to collect himself. Glancing up, he sees a brief flicker of bright red at the end of the hall, and before he can stop himself he's following after it. ]

[ He doesn't squeeze back, but he doesn't protest either. Her skin is not only soft but warm. It's rather pleasing. ]

[ That's alright, it isn't going to deter her! In fact, she'll scoot a bit closer, nestling down to rest her forehead against his. ]

[ Literally not being able to see her coming, he startles slightly. ]

[ A affirmative hum follows her snicker. ]

I must. [ Closing her eyes, she sighs contently! ]

[ Ok, if she's not going to take his comment as a way of telling her to ease off, he'll just roll back over onto his back. ]

Oh, come now...

[ You can just hear the pout in her voice, and she follows with a huff! She'll pull her hand back as it was, nestled under her chin, assuming he's had enough of that. ]

[ He huffs right back. ]

I thought you were going to try and kiss me. I could have simply shoved your face away.

[ The thought of that is pretty funny. In fact, her lips very slightly twinge into a smile! She's not going to let him know that, though. ]

Rude. What's so bad about kissing me?

[ Excuses? Maybe. ]

[ Okay, this is absolutely amusing, yes. ]

No. I simply have no interest in being cut. I don't enjoy pain, as you seem to do.

[ Okay, she has to chuckle at that. ]

They aren't knives. My own lips and tongue would be a mess, otherwise, you silly man.

[ Not as much a fan of this banter he turns back towards her. ]

Fine. But I won't claim to be any good at it.

[ With how casually he responds, Grell has to rethink his words to be certain that he's actually agreed to kissing her! ]

Well, I won't know one way or the other, until you do.

[ Scooting closer, her hand finds his chest, idly grasping at his shirt. ]

[ With a steadying breath William leans in to press his lips to hers. It's a stiff, closed mouth kiss. His lips dry, as they haven't been moistened by a flick of his tongue. And it's fleeting. Even as he pulls back, his own creased brow says he wasn't pleased with his performance. ]

[ Grell's breath had stilled, lashes fluttering as her lids fell -- and she's left like that just a moment too long, because... was.. that it...

Her fingers raise to rest against her lips. It might be hilariously endearing, but she. Can't. LAUGH. ]

Ah... Darling. You must relax.

[ For anyone else, she's certain that she'd tell them how dreadful they are, but him... why does she suddenly feel so soft towards him?! ]

Here, let me show you, and you can follow... You must soften your lips--

[ Leaning in, she will cup his face - and, assuming that he allows it, she will go in for a kiss. Her nose barely grazes his, her lips parted ever so slightly, so that they may embrace his. She will allow them to linger for a few moments, before she pulls away, muttering against his mouth, voice hushed and husky. ]

[ As she pulls back, his own eyes remain closed for a moment. It was a gentler kiss than he would have imagined someone of her intensity giving. But, he liked it. And now, knowing how it should be done, he feels more confident on his own capabilities. With a hum he briefly guides his tongue across his lips, the faint flavour of the gloss she'd been wearing earlier lingering. ]

I believe I can do so.

[ He takes a breath again, allowing his body to relax. He hadn't realised just how tense his shoulders had been. Wetting his lips slightly, he leans in once more to take her in a kiss. Already it feels better, more natural. Her bottom lip is nestled between his and he suddenly feels the urge to suckle it lightly. ]

[ The manner in which he drinks in such sensations is incredibly attractive in itself. Eager to see how he'd compare, a hand cups his cheek as she melds into his next kiss - and she isn't disappointed in the least! In fact, he earns a sigh of a moan out of her! ]

[ Though still a single kiss, their embrace is longer, more intense. Even as it ends, William lingers close, allowing his forehead to rest against hers as she'd done to him not moments before. ]

[ The touch gets a pleased little hum out of her, edged with a bit of laughter, even! She's clearly smiling. ]

Much better. But...

[ Her hand pets up in his hair, as she nuzzles close, lips teasing against his! ]

[ While probably meant to be flirtatious, William's fairly monotone voice reads more like a submitted request form. Still, the intention is there, and he hasn't backed away - or shoved her! - despite his hair getting toyed with! ]

[ With a chuckle, she scoots in closer, leaning her body into his. The kiss that follows is more heated - and she parts her lips to take his again, and once more! There's even the slightest flick of her tongue. ]

[ When her tongue dashes along his, there's a slight surprised hum that escapes him. It's an obvious action, now that he's experienced it, and as their kisses blend into one another, he begins to mimic the action. He winds an arm around her middle, holding her there against him, even though he knows she has no intention of leaving him.

What started as a stiff kiss has now evolved to a full on snog! ]

[ The redhead sighs a blissful little croon between their lips. Her arms have wound over his shoulders, fingers dug into his hair - and her legs play along his. It may have been an awkward start, but perhaps that leaves her all the more impressed by how quickly he's caught on. After all, she's thoroughly enjoying herself! ]

[ He may be an average student, but he's quick to learn and adapt when it comes to a particular redhead. Plus, stringing all the kisses together allows him to adjust with each new press of their lips. Gosh, he may just be finding something new he likes! There's quite the pleased sigh that comes from him and he can almost imagine this lasting the entire night. At the moment, he's even forgotten why he asked her to stay. ]
