[ No one questioned anything when William suddenly left his office that morning. "I've been called to a meeting" was all the information he gave the rest of Dispatch. To them, it wasn't surprising, seeing as he was the head of the department. For William, however, the summoning came with zero notice. As he made his way to the upper managements' offices, all he could wonder was what issue his subordinates caused that he'd have to clean up after, this time.

It wasn't until lunch break that William returned to Dispatch. The others expected they'd get reprimanded for something, but William remained quiet, his face expressionless as he closed the door to his office. ]

[ She can't see it, but he gives her a good look over on his way to the vanity to straighten out his own hair. ]

Oh, I don't know, something that you actually like, perhaps?

[ Shuffling through the clothing on her hangers, she hums with some irritation. ]

What am I supposed to wear? They'll just have me change into one of those horrid jumpsuits, I'm sure.

Don't complain. Unless you'd rather get your own clothes filthy while scrubbing the lavatories.

[ A lovely reminder of what she's probably going to have to do on her first day. Finding a comb on the vanity, he neatly parts his hair. ]

And I don't mind wearing a suit. Though I will admit my wardrobe is lacking in more casual clothing.

[ A deep and very horrified breath sounds from where she buries her head against the clothing in her closet. ]

...Casual clothing... [ Okay, so that gives her an idea. She perks up to shuffle through, picking out things that she could easily layer the jumpsuit over! They're more casual pieces, easy to move in-- trousers cut above the ankle, and a simple button-down blouse with a rolled cap sleeve. She picks out a cute red blazer to layer over it, for to and from.

She carries them over to pile on top of the bed, plopping herself down to unfasten the clips of her garters. ]

It seems we'll both need to go shopping♥

You don't have enough here already?

[ He sounds so skeptical of that. ]

[ The redhead turns to quirk a brow at him, over her shoulder. ]

You've changed your mind on the lingerie, then? [ She asks, a leg extended to slowly peel down its stocking. ]

[death_glare]

[ Ah, she caught him on that one, especially since he's watching as the thin fabric slowly reveals the smooth leg beneath. ]

No. I thought you were referring to day wear.

[untodeath]

[ Grell chuckles while disposing of the stocking to the floor, so that she may remove the other. ]

Not this time, darling. I'll have to purge my wardrobe of all those uniform pieces, first.

[death_glare]

[ His eyes drift from her legs back up to meet hers. ]

You say that as if you followed dress code.

[untodeath]

[ A not-at-all-innocent grin is what he'll receive! ]

Believe it or not, I did! Just enough to get by.

[ Now that she's mostly free of her garb, she stands to unfasten her garter belt. ]

I won't have to worry much about that anymore.

Just barely.

[ William takes a seat at the vanity, idly watching as she dresses. ]

I believe the janitorial jumpsuits are blue. It will be odd seeing you in something other than red.

[ Grell sticks her tongue out with a disgusted scoff! ]

Don't remind me.

[ Once she's wiggled into her clothing, she busies herself with tucking in her shirt while returning to the closet to pick out her shoes. She opts for ankle-cut booties. She'll be damned if a bit of mopping will keep her out of heels. ]

I'll just have to adjust, that's all... I'll find a way!

[ Speaking of, there's a red skinny belt, right in front of her in the closet! Perhaps that would help! ]

[ He does frown at her shoe choice but opts not to comment on it. It's her feet that have to endure that, not his. Assuming she's just about ready, he stands, making his way out of the room to grab his wallet and jacket. ]

[ Grell frowns, too, when William leaves without a word - but she busies herself with pulling on her blazer and giving herself a good look-over in the mirror. It's an awfully simple outfit, but cute enough to get her by.

Following after him, she's idly fussing with her hair once more, as her eyes scan the living area. ]

Ready for breakfast, then?

[ A simple nod and he holds the door open for her to leave. ]

Where would you like to go?

[ Batting her lashes as she walks past, she hums while considering their options. ]

The diner would be fine. I could do with some pancakes.

[death_glare]

Very well then.

[ In the blink of an eye the two are outside of the diner. They're seated and William takes up the menu, even though breakfast options are fairly standard at every eatery. ]

[ Even though they're seated across from one another and distracted their menus, that doesn't mean that the angel has avoided her attention. She still extends her legs out to rest her ankles against his. ]

What do you typically like for breakfast, Will? We need to start putting a list together for those groceries~

[ For once, Grell doesn't get a kick under the table. ]

I'm guessing my answer of chocolate chip pancakes would be a bit obvious.

[ She lowers her menu to look at him with a delighted laugh. ]

I think I'm jealous of your metabolism!

[death_glare]

I don't eat chocolate constantly.

[ Somehow he takes that as an insult. ]

It's just something I happen to enjoy.

[ With a shake of the head, she endearingly places her hand over his. ]

I think it's cute.

[ He gives her a look before setting his menu aside. ]

Honestly, you think everything I do is cute.

[ With a skeptical hum, she plants her cheek atop a hand! ]

I wouldn't say that. Take last night, for example.

[ The redhead bats her lashes. ]

You're also sexy.

That's practically the same.

[ The waitress comes by bringing them the drinks they ordered when they were first seated. William pulls his cup of tea towards him, finding the sugar to sweeten it up. ]
