[ Graduating from the reaper academy was nothing to brag about. Sure you gained some skills and were granted permission to customize your glasses and scythe, but beyond that, all that was in the newly trained reapers' future was tedious, unavoidable work encased within long nights of depression and regret. Unlike mortal graduations that were followed by celebration, reapers were informed of how they came to be, what was expected of them, should they wish to redeem themselves, and then shown their personal cinematic records. Forced to relive the pain of their mortal lives. To say it's a traumatic experience is a vast understatement.
William stands alone in his newly assigned, permanent flat. It's barely furnished, with just the essentials, no life or personality to be seen. All that's playing through his mind is his record. A horrific thing to rewatch, certainly, but somehow it was made more painful by a fear that had been newly established. He's suddenly feeling sick from the thoughts and has to exit the apartment to collect himself. Glancing up, he sees a brief flicker of bright red at the end of the hall, and before he can stop himself he's following after it. ]
Grell Sutcliffe?

Grell Sutcliffe?
no subject
Well. If you insist.
[ And so, she sets to unbuttoning her trousers and wiggling them down her hips! ]
no subject
[ He does her the courtesy of not watching and instead makes to head back to his room and find a new shirt. ]
no subject
A considerate man.
[ Once William is back, he will find the redhead over the sink, working some dish soap into what's left of the stain. Her trousers are on the counter, under what remains of the salt, which leaves her in her vest and shirt - and, thankfully for him, her shirt is long enough to conceal her panties. ]
no subject
Is it working?
[ He comes up next to her, watching the rest of her process. ]
no subject
It will. We're going to soak it in this bowl for a while. I've filled it with some hydrogen peroxide.
[ She pats the fabric down into the solution, inside the bowl she's placed in the sink. ]
This might be the one household task I excel at. Being as messy as I am, you know.
no subject
How often do you spill wine on yourself?
no subject
More than I'd care to admit.
no subject
Can you hand me that dish cloth, since you've gone and smudged up my spectacles?
no subject
Mm, you've such handsome features. Very sharp.
no subject
Thank you, I suppose.
[ Finished, he replaces them on his face, quick to turn his head in the right direction when he realises the mistake he's been making. ]
no subject
Mmhmm♥
[ Oh, right. Her trousers should be done, as well! She'll set to patting in the salt before brushing it off into the trash. ]
Alas! Wine that could have gone to better use. Where did our cups go off to, in any case?
no subject
[ And he's off to fetch them, carrying them carefully back to the kitchen so as not to cause another mess. As he takes a sip of his, he finally takes note of Grell's bare legs, long and perhaps shaven? He clears his throat, looking away, hopefully before she noticed. ]
You should return home and get some new trousers.
no subject
What, am I making you-- [ She swings a foot up to rest against the ledge of the island counter!] --uncomfortable, Will?
no subject
[ He huffs as his gaze quickly moves from her leg to her face. ]
Can't you keep your feet on the floor?
no subject
Is that meant to be an analogy of some sort?
no subject
[ Grabbing hold of her ankle, he forces her foot off his counter space. ]
no subject
Well then! Talk about a missed opportunity, you know?
no subject
Honestly, I already told you nothing like that would be happening.
no subject
[ She leans forward to peek at him over the rims of her glasses, tapping his nose. ]
Not everything I do is to seduce you.
no subject
But the vast majority is.
no subject
So I'm a little flirtatious, but were I aiming to seduce you...
[ She prowls closer with an incredibly dangerous look to her eye!
Even so, she's giving him the opportunity to escape! So, clearly, she's toying with him. ]
no subject
If this is it, it is not working.
no subject
What about this?
no subject
[ He sounds angry but he hasn't tugged his hands from her grip. ]
no subject
It's been a few days since we've spoken, I'm sure they miss me by now.
[ Hands cupped over his, she guides them upward, under the hem of her shirt and along her hips. Those are absolutely women's lace panties that he feels. ]
